Chapter 53 - C 49- Memorable.

After a few exchange of intimate words along with their feelings, the girls started to ask some irrelevant questions which Ken answered. They were so focused on the present that they forgot to inquire some pretty significant or not questions, like;

In that story or timeline, were we with someone different?

If yes, then who was it? Someone different or was he/she among the heroes?

Did our dreams or desires come to fruition?

And so on and so forth. Or maybe they had it in mind but deemed it of less importance than their current inquires.

"...Were you in any romantic relationships in your past life?"

"I was in many but only one was memorable..."

" Stop reminiscing and give us a run down of them" said Shia to the absentminded Ken.

"I've had a lot of flings and one night stands but...*sighs* ...Well my first girlfriend was in highschool, one of the three Queens in my school. She wasn't the Queen bee but she was second in popularity because she was both smart and beautiful, unlike the Queen bee who was beautiful, rich and charismatic or the third Queen who was both athletic and beautiful.

We started as study companions before we became more after our first date. But I was dealing with a lot at the time and she couldn't understand my pain... ...or more like I wasn't good at expressing my pain for her to get it. Our relationship didn't go beyond strictly protected sex and helping each other study, so in a few years after highschool, we broke up..."

"Was she the memorable one, Master?"

"No, if she was I would've told you her name. She was Abigail Lytar and I met her in the Army. We were both so much alike in more ways than you could ever imagine... but you girls are more amazing, of course.

Ahem... we got together like it was fate even though ironically I'm not a fan of that idea. We were both curious, eager to know more and fundamentally smart but we had different opinions on certain matters– and that's how we met.

It was one of those common group discussions that sprung up during our free time the I met her.We were a group of about ten discussing about old era style of rulership, military force or weaponry since any public talk about modern political opinions were forbidden by an unwritten rule.

I agreed on the Machiavelli philosophy but she agreed on Socrates' principles in relation to rulership. After a few back and forth presentation of facts, and which one produced successful results in history, we got to find interest in each other.

Everything was great– there was a mutual understanding for one another's plight as well as the motivation to improve like a healthy relationship..."

"... ...Where did it go wrong?"

"Who said it went wrong..."

"Its your eyes, Master. It's saying alot"

"I see... we knew we were both broken due to circumstances– we had pasts we didn't want to face even though we confined in each other.

We both had an idea or things that we thought could 'fix' us, that could give us the illusion that things are okay and that we're whole again. While we chased after what ever that was, we slowly moved apart until we couldn't even see each other to ascertain the status of our relationship till my death."

"...If you had the chance you woul--"

"I would correct things and clear any misunderstanding... but my primary regret was not once looking for my father after I left home. We were once family, after all"

""... ..."".

"... How about your new life on Earth?"(Riveria)

"It was both a normal and abnormal family, after all they taught kids martial arts. My current mother and father as well as my older brother and sister weren't around much after I turn five, which inwardly I was thankful for.

I couldn't look at them without the images of my father and mother overlapping theirs, so I was with my grandpa and grandma for most of my current life and it was a new experience.

They were supportive even though they were very strict, so I like staying with them– they became the grandparents I never had. Whenever my parents and siblings came to visit from whatever fight or secret trip, I will feign deviancy and they will blame themselves for it due to their absence in my life. And even though I knew it was wrong, I let it be and placed my all into training.

If my brief reading of manhuas, manhwas and mangas had taught me anything, it's that reincarnating with past memories is always followed by chaos and opportunities. So from childhood, I trained in anticipation for the eventual chaos without procrastinating once.

Eighteen normal years went by and I was starting to think, maybe I reincarnated into a normal Earth and that maybe I should focus on setting my life straight inorder not to make certain mistakes– and that turned badly.

It was after transferring schools did I meet Hagime and the other heroes, and now here I am with amazing and beautiful ladies. My only wish is that I don't screw up ever"

"...You won't "

"We're her--". "Daddy!!"

"My cute Myu~ Daddy is sorry he didn't come and hug you when he came"

"Hehehe~. Daddy, your hug tickles...".

"It does? Are you sure~"

"... And he's worried of screwing up with such a happy smile" (Yue)

"Right~". "I like this..."

Hagime and Koari came in along with Myu to tell Ken and the girls about the Duke's rise from his sick bed. The group then entered Ankaji to listen to the gratitude of the Duke and his people.

Ken who was uninterested in money or anything physical, asked for permission to observe and analyze Ankaji's main artifact– the Pillar of Judgement responsible for the versatile protective rainbow dome around Ankaji.

Against the protests of the nobles, the Duke heeded his son's advice and allowed the party a one time access to the secret room to analyze their most precious artifact and it's related documents.

Ken's party then left Ankaji after satisfying their curiosity without causing trouble but caused much commotion as most inhabitants of the city witnessed their departure in Jetmarine.

And this is how tales and dreams of mankind taking the skies started in Tortus.
