Chapter 42 - C 38- Myu

The world's strongest party have left the Neutral Commercial City, Fuhuren, and on to a new adventure. The party entered the city with six people one prisoner, and now they've left the city with the same headcount.

The Light carriage was the vehicle Ken picked in favor of their new travelling companion who, you've guessed; it's Myu. With the space available, Myu was allowed to move around excluding the back area. Which she gladly obliged hopping from one "normal" Onee-san to another "weird" Onee-san as she admired how her Papa moved on land like it's sea.

Lying on the floor in the back was the prisoner Shimizu Yukitoshi who in addition to the Seal collar, also had his limbs shackled with strong Toul chains by the guild. With Ken finding it troublesome to have to feed him till they reached Horaud, Shimizu has been put to sleep everytime he awakes and with his otherworldly physique he will be fine...?.

"Papa, who is the man laying on the floor?"

"He's a bad man, your P-papa caught..."

Ken smiles wryly as he answers Myu. The reason for it was that things went differently; even though he looked forward to meeting Myu and also he felt it was his responsibility to rescue her since things changed. During his date with Shia, he didn't pick up on any distressed signals down the sewers; meaning either things had changed or he was late. To avoid looking distracted during the date, Ken decides to search for her another day by knocking on the doors of the Fuhuren underworld but that proved unnecessary.

On the evening date with Riveria, Ken let her pick the activities she wanted as a way of letting her display her 'dere' side more than she did near the lake. During one of their walks, Riveria and Ken hear a muffled distress cry belonging to a kid from an alley.

Riveria unexpectedly was the first to move towards the cry followed by Ken in a rush. They get there to find masked men in tuxedos trying to load a glass water tank in a waiting carriage. The cry came from the little kid who was moving around in the tank as one of these men knocked the tank to threaten the kid to shut it. Apparently the auction was still ongoing, but the noble who bought this little girl from the sea tribe was in a hurry to leave thus their current situation.

The whole different circumstances "Papa" thing was when Ken playing in a different personality proclaimed loudly...

"Oi, didn't your parents ever tell you bad deeds never go unpunished?!... ...today I'll be your father and teach you a lesson"

After such an embarrassing statement, Riveria and Ken wasted the hoodlums and save the sea girl who started crying on his shoulder after calling him "Papa!". This ordeal ended with the same underworld organization that Hagime destroyed in the main story being destroyed again after an outraged Riveria found out their unforgivable act of selling countless innocent kids in auctions.

With this they left the city in chaos as arguably the most powerful underworld organization vanished in a single night, in addition to giving Ilwa tons of paper and clean up work to do.

_______________

After a few days of camping and riding, Ken and his party finally arrived at Horaud Town near the Great Orcus Labyrinth in the Light runner and Magic Cycles drawing lots of attention.

During the long journey here, Shia expressed her desire to ride with the wind on her skin which Riveria seconded. Ken already expecting this introduces them to their personal cycle they can free ride with.

The runner's doors opened upward for Ken, Myu, Yue and Tio to alight at their destination. Ken carries Myu on his shoulders and takes care of the vehicles after instructing Shia to gag the prisoner and cover his face before removing him from the front trunk of the car.

They're stopped by the guards who demanded verification of the party and their prisoner. Ken gives them his card and they immediately turn formal to the rank, allowing their entry after Ken showed them the Fuhuren guild master's symbol on the letter. Telling them that the prisoner's identity is a confidential information of the guild at which they acknowledge because the rank does not lie.

Moving through the town towards the labyrinth, Ken's mind starts to refresh his memory of this place that he briefly and uncaringly roamed before his first Labyrinth dive, all the while buying the snacks and delicacies that manage to catch Myu and the girls' senses.

With the lax security at the entrance of the labyrinth, Ken just had to show them his rank and level to gain entry without any unnecessary questions about the unknown person. Ken and party move to the nearest teleportation circle after gaining the knowledge of the heroes' lastest known level in the labyrinth from a passing adventure who was ready to answer after some coercion.

"Kyaaa!..."

"...Ken I think we should leave Myu outside with one of us"

"How careless of me, you're right. But I can't send one of you guys out yet... ...how about this?"

Ken puts Myu to sleep and gently nests her head on his shoulder while holding her with his arm.

"Look at him on full daddy mode after just a few days of being with her~" (Shia)

"... ...What are planning, Ken?" questions Yue with a piercing stare.

"Nothing much... ...Oscar said with his ring we can navigate the labyrinth quickly and also control the monster summoning circles so--"

"...so you want to see how they fare against some strong monsters especially the Hydra?"

"That's it basically... your thoughts? "

Shia, Riveria and Tio agree to the challenge as they step in the circle and reappear in a fairly lit corridor with the strong scent of blood. They're immediately attacked by some humanoid demonic beasts with immerse strength and huge clubs but like always they get thrashed by Shia alone without putting up a worthy fight.

After a few encounters and turns, Ken's party arrive at an open space and hear the familiar sounds of gunshots as well as some visibly thrashed adventuring party. Ken recognized all in the party from the Hero Kouki to a mob character Like Endou the assassin, but he wasn't interested in these guys, so he moved passed them to Koari, Shizuku and Hagime who stood above the corpses of some monsters and {Spoilers}.

"I can see it already over"

"Ken? You're already here" says Hagime like it's not a big deal but the clamoring Hero's party said otherwise. In one freak incident, they almost died and they also find out that not one but two of their fallen classmates are alive with the weakest, now stronger than their strongest.

Ken throws Tio a vial of sacred water which has only seen proper usage in Miledi's Labyrinth when Miledi made the ceiling of the labyrinth fall with her Gravity magic even after her core was destroyed. Tio walks over to the seriously injured Captain Meld and basically pulls him away from the light.

"What are you doing here?... you could've waited outside" said Hagime as his eyes follow Ken going around picking some monsters in to the treasure trove.

"We sending the first inmate of our prison to his new home" said Ken who points to the unknown man infront of Riveria and continues.

"We're still doing that?"

"Of course we're. The kingdom and guild do not have the capacity to keep him shackled"

"You don't know that. Whether they have a seal stone or not"

"Haaah~ If he's in the kingdom's custody, how long do you think they'll be tempted to use him with such military potential?"

"... ...Right"

"We'll be going down now... you can go ahead and send them to the surface. It's great seeing you alive, Yaegashi Shizuku" said Ken with a lovely to the awestruck Shizuku who had a hard time accepting such a physical change even though she knew from his voice that it was really Kiyama Kenshiro. She was still frozen till they left, unable to speak her mind.

Using Oscar's ring, Ken's party navigated the deepest parts of the labyrinth while giving a tour of his cave, Hagime's cave, his first gaze into death, and in his opinion, the hardest floor while skipping the floor of Yue's prison which causes her to smile in thanks to Ken, for she knew she wasn't ready to face that yet.

As for the Hydra boss fight, let's leave it for another time.
