No dreams came to me that night. No visions, no nightmares. For once in the last week and a half, I slept peacefully. Waking up to the sun coming through my window is absolutely beautiful. I can hear the morning robins and blackbirds singing their songs. Today is the day. But no matter what happens, I will be with my Victor. So all I can do is charge forward, head held high. I take a long hot shower, then I decide to curl my hair in long ringlets. My back up uniform is already folded out across my desk. Dorm mother must've done this for me. I get dressed then look at myself in the wall length mirror next to Amelia's bed. I look up and down, and then smile at my own face. Time to face the judges. I walk out and go along my normal path to classes.
