Dorm mother meets me by the doors and gives me my dinner. She seems really happy to see me back safe and sound in the dorms. Amelia is passed out already, and she left out a flower and a note for me on my desk. "Dear Freya, I heard what happened at practice today. I'm sorry to hear about that and I hope you're okay." Left with some hearts, she signed her name. I gratefully climbed into bed, ecstatic that I don't have to repeat my day over again with her.
I love having someone to talk to at the end of the day, but I do have to admit that it's kind of boring after a minute. I mean we've only been roommates for a few days? And I'm already sick of sharing things with her. Laying here staring at the ceiling, I race through my mind thinking back to Victor holding me, to Victor helping me, to Victor tossing my hair. And his smile. His entire being just melts me away and I can't seem to stop loving him.
