Waking up the next morning, my body feels like I was dropped from a 10 story building and somehow survived. My heart and gut ache as if someone stabbed me 42 times and then some. Amelia is already gone and off doing her own thing before class. So I am left to shower and eat breakfast before the first class starts. But walking through school and going from class to class all seems like a blur. When I think back to what Victor said to me yesterday, my heart aches even more.
And even though he broke my heart, I still love him. But how can I even know that I love him? I've known him a total of what, 7-8 days? And every time we are together, he treats me like I'm a little girl. It's true I have no experience in love whatsoever, let alone human relations from the people in my village. But I feel as if I've known him all my life. As if there is an undying fate between the two of us.
