"I'm still going to the interview if that is what you are all wondering. I'm not a cripple you know, I can still walk normally, I'm just weakened a little, and my body is sore, and that is it." Mio said as she tried to stand up from her position but felt pain all over her body and she immediately stopped trying. When everyone saw this they simply sighed at her and said that she should just remain in the Palace to recuperate, but Mio simply shook her head as she didn't want that.
"No… that won't do. I know that I may be weakened right now, but I won't break my promise to the people. They want answers, so I'll simply give it to them." Mio rejected the idea of staying here to relax and recuperate as she thought that her people still needed her and just as Solar was about to say something, Mio cut off her.
"Plus… I just made a big show just now. I mean everyone did see me get knocked out, right? So I'm sure that everyone is worried and if I don't show my face tomorrow, it will only worsen some things." Mio explained with a light voice as she looked over at the window to look at the beautiful view outside.
Everyone who heard her couldn't help but agree because they also knew that she was right but deep in their hearts, they just wanted her to stay here to get better, but they also knew if they did it could only worsen the situation. People might think or even believe that their Goddess is seriously injured which she was, but if that kind of news really does spread, then it would cause a global panic.
That was the last thing that they wanted to happen because it could cause unnecessary troubles, such as riots which was the biggest thing that they wanted to avoid. Riot at a time like this would just bring the entire economy down because they have been attacked and because the Gate of Abomination was contained in Japan, it was the only country that was damaged by it. Especially the City that it appeared in, as for the nearby ones, it were damaged but not to this extent.
"Don't worry, I won't push myself that much. I know my limitations and it is just a simple interview anyway, nothing much. I just need to talk." Mio assured them and at this point, everyone knows that the only option that they have is to agree because no matter how much they plead or do, Mio wouldn't simply agree with them to stay here.
"Good, I apologize for my selfish actions. But I need to do this." Mio said softly as she looked at all of them before comforting them. Just then she found a good idea to make them even feel more at ease.
"I'll allow someone to accompany me if all of you are still worried," Mio said and when those words left her mouth, everyone's mood shifted as they finally felt that they could do something in return to her.
Without hesitating, Nayeon raised her hand faster than anyone making her the one to accompany Mio in the interview tomorrow, and when she realized that she had won, a smile bloomed over her face knowing that she would be the one to accompany her idol.
"Looks like, I'm going to be in your care, Nayeon. From now on you or rather all of you can call me by my name whenever we are alone. Mio Nanase, remember that." When everyone heard Lucifer say her real name all of them were shocked as none of them expected it, showing her face was already shocking enough for all of them, but now she even revealed her name to all of them.
"You don't have to be so shocked. At first, there were only 5 people who knew my real identity, but now it has changed. I hope that everyone will keep this a secret though, I still don't want my identity to be known by everyone." Mio asked them a favor to which all of them nodded their heads as they promised her that her name and face were safe with them, they would never tell a soul about it.
"That is good to hear. All of you can leave now, I want to rest some more." Mio simply waved her hand as she laid back down with the help of Solar and when everyone saw her tired look, all of them said their goodbye before finally leaving her alone. All of them then went towards the lounge area of the Palace to chat a little more.
"So… do the three of you already know about the real secrets of this world of a long time now?" Lisa asked as she drank the tea that the maid had prepared before all of them left under the direct orders of Solar.
"Not for a long time… we have just known it recently. But it's shocking, right? To this day I still can't believe that there is a world out there that is even more terrifying than ours. Not only that, the person who made the world like this is our real Goddess and is the Master of Mio." Saito answered with a calm look on his face as he blurted out his real thoughts.
But it wasn't just him who felt like that, the other two were in the same boat with him. The three of them simply couldn't believe that their world was caused by that person who happened to be the Master of their best friend.
"Yeah… now that I have read everything, it is simply shocking. But why did she tell us this now? Is the world really in such big trouble because of the Gate?" Yin asked as he looked over the three as he was still rather confused why is Mio deciding to tell them this now? Of course, they understood why she decided to keep it a secret because it was such massive news that would break the world.
"I… it's because that same person came back again and tasked Mio with something. But this is the least that I can say because I also don't know how much I can say." Just as Solar finished her words, a beautiful woman with white hair suddenly showed up right in front of them alerting everyone, but before they could attack, they were all stopped by Solar.
"Goddess… what brings you here today?" Solar got up from her seat and bowed her head in respect and when everyone saw it, they immediately realized who the person was, and they did the same as Solar and bowed their heads to the white-haired woman.
"There is no need for such formalities. I'm only here to answer the unattended questions that Mio didn't answer all of you. Since this is our first meeting with you 9, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Ayase Yuki, the Goddess that you are talking about just now." Yuki waved her hand as she sat on the couch before letting all of them take their seats.
"You were asking if the world is in big trouble, right? The answer is yes. In your current state, there is simply no possible way for you to defeat the Gate that has spawned in the other Galaxy. They are simply too strong for all of you…" Yuki said the harsh truth and just as she was about to continue she spotted Mio who was walking here with difficulty.
Solar looked over the direction where Yuki was looking and when she saw Mio having trouble walking over there, she immediately supported her and sat her down next to her.
"Master… why did you come again?" Mio asked with an embarrassed tone as she wasn't able to greet her when she first arrived.
"There's no need to panic, I'm only here to tell the real story about your world, and give some more information that all of you might need. But… I didn't expect you to use your Memento Mori Skill Series again though, but then again, you were in a dire position, and it was your only chance of winning." Yuki sighed as she looked over at Mio before getting something in her Storage Ring and throwing it to Mio for her to swallow.
"It's a Pill, eat it. It'll repair all of the hidden damages you did to your body. It will also help you heal faster." Yuki simply said as she still didn't want to see her disciple getting seriously injured plus it was Mio and she had a soft spot for the Mortal Realm and its people because it was still her home world.
"Goddess… you also know about the current condition of Mio?" Solar asked timidly as she didn't expect her to know such a thing, but then she realized that she asked a stupid question since she was their Goddess and that she was the made the System, knowing the condition of Mio was a piece of cake for her.
"Oh yes… She injured her Soul Realm. But enough of that, I'm only here to answer all of your questions, and maybe Mio's as well if she has some. So let's start."
