As soon as the Raid Boss entered the second stage, it immediately attacked the Tanks because their Taunt still it's full effect. But they didn't care about it instead they felt even more confident now as they knew that with all of them together, they could take down this Raid Boss.
"Nayeon, do you see the small cut that Solar did to his core?" Mio asked as she backed away after knocking back the Dragon while regaining her composure because as time passes, the more tired she gets. But she hid it perfectly where no one could see it simply because she didn't want unnecessary pity from them, she just wanted to focus on the Raid Boss right in front of her.
"I see it, but what do you want me to do with it, Lucifer? Do you want me to attack it?" Nayeon asked and just as she was about to cast her Spells directly on it out of all the people there except for Mio herself, she had the greatest aim imaginable aim above everyone. She was in a league of her own.
"Not necessarily an attack. I just want you to throw this and make sure that it sticks to it, do you think you can do that?" Mio said as she walked up beside Nayeon and gave her a black bullet that had a sharp tip that looked as if it could pierce anything, hearing Lucifer's request, she simply nodded her head and promised that she would do her best.
"Now, I want everyone to work together. Make sure you leave him open for Nayeon to strike it, understood?" Mio said as she brought something out of her Storage Ring upon seeing a large metal container everyone was confused until she opened it and showed everyone a white Sniper Rifle with black markings all around it.
Everyone was even more confused, especially the ones who were watching the live broadcast as they knew that Guns at this time of age were simply useless against them even if you infuse your bullets with Magic, they are still extremely weak compared to a bow that has been completely manifested with Mana.
But Mio simply ignored everyone as she began to set it up and when she touched the cold surface of the Gun, she remembered the words of the person who gave it to her. Of course, that person is none other than her Master, as she got the Sniper Rifle as a reward for doing her Quest a few centuries ago.
"That… Isn't that the Anti-Matter Sniper that Mom made?" Somi thought to herself as she found the Gun very familiar as she had seen it multiple times already, it was a destructive Gun that could kill almost anything that it hit. The Gun was specially made for living beings that are entirely made up of Mana/Qi because just as the name suggests, once it hits the target, it will send up ruptures in every part of the body like a virus that spreads before exploding killing the Target in an instant.
"Did you give Mio the Anti-Matter Sniper, Mom? But didn't you only make five of them? With all of them still being with you apart from the one that you gifted to Aunt Merlin." Somi asked as she was sure that her Mother was going to answer her since she had a lot of free time so she probably spent it watching her closely making sure that nothing bad happened to her.
"You know my Anti-Matter Sniper, isn't that surprising… But that is not exactly the Anti-Matter Sniper because that is the first-ever prototype that I enhanced a little. I would say that it's more than 90% weaker but in their current state of the World. That would serve as the strongest Weapon ever, even stronger than her Scythe." As Somi heard her Mother's answers she slumped back on the sofa and watched quietly alongside Alice who was nervous.
Somi could tell that Alice was tense because of how the fight was shifting and it was clear that she was worried for her parent's safety, but she was still glad that Mio didn't show up as the Grand Saintess and helped on the battlefield because if she did, Alice would be 10x more worried now that she already is.
When Mio finally finished setting up the Anti-Matter Sniper by putting the Scope on top of it, she was finally done. She simply lifted up the Gun and began to aim at it just to feel for it and when she found herself comfortable with it, she told everyone to get started with their plan.
Even though they were confused, they simply complied and did as they were tasked. Everyone but Nayeon and Mio began to distract the Flood Dragon so that Nayeon could have an opening and throw the black bullet and just moments later she finally found the moment and threw the black bullet with her wind magic causing it to fly in the air faster than the speed of sound.
"Good, now everyone takes a distance," Mio ordered as she opened the chamber of the gun and loaded it with the same black bullet that she had given to Nayeon just a few moments, and from this everyone immediately understood what she wanted to do. She wants to shoot the bullet that was already stuck inside the Flood Dragon's body to ensure penetration against its hard body. So without wasting much time, everyone got behind Mio at least for a few hundred meters.
"Let's see how tough your scales really are~," Mio said as she pulled the safety off before finally pulling the trigger because she wasn't expecting such a recoil, she felt her shoulder getting crushed because of the force of it. Luckily she managed to support herself in time.
As soon as the bullet hit the target, it fired off immediately and penetrated inside of the Flood Dragon, and behind that bullet was the same bullet that Mio just fired, seeing this, Mio was glad that her planned work. Just as she was about to put back the Gun down, she saw the Flood Dragon scream in pain before finally falling to the ground with its HP draining fast.
"The Raid Boss actually went down just from two bullets of that Sniper well technically one, but even so that is impressive… Who knew a Gun could be this powerful…" Iris said in shock as she watched how the Dragon HP drain at an incredible rate and just as she was about to celebrate, the Flood Dragon suddenly exploded in a bloody mess. That was enough proof for them to see how powerful the Sniper that Mio just brought out.
"Sadly… if you are thinking of using your wish to get this from me. I will have to decline. There are only three Treasures that I won't allow you to have, but everything else is available. I apologize." Mio said when she saw them look at the Gun and even though there was no jealousy in them, she still felt that she needed to explain.
