Chapter 139 - Chatting A Little Bit Longer

"Alright, that is it everyone, and I'm now going to pick the media that will come with me for the interview that you will be having with Lucifer. So be prepared because I'm only giving you 6 hours to prepare everything, whether you are ready or not, it's going to be my problem or Lucifer's. So prepare now, I'm expecting a lot from you STIX Media." Solar stood up from her chair with the help of her husband before announcing to all of the people before finally dismissing everyone.

With that everyone began packing their things and when the place had finally cleared up Solar simply made a barrier so that no one could see what was happening inside nor hear what was happening. After she placed the barrier the same people that just left came with, but this time instead of having cold and indifferent looks on their faces, they were more relaxed and some even had smiles on their faces.

"Sister Solar, oh how I have missed you!" Lisa said as she gave Solar a deep hug to which Solar returned with a deep one as well, she even gave her a pat on the head as likewise, she also missed Lisa just as much as she did.

"How are you, everyone? I hope that you didn't get too shocked when I sent you the letters that Lucifer wrote." Solar asked while having an apologetic smile hanging down on her face as she also knows how much of a quick notice this one is, if it was any other person she would have outright ignored them because they were being rude because they didn't even give proper time to prepare. But Mio was different, she was her sworn sister.

"It's not much of a problem, Lady Solar. At least for me since I'm not practically doing anything at home apart from watching my disciples and family train." Yu Lei chuckled lightly as he brushed it off like it was nothing and everyone simply agreed with his words because they truly had nothing to do.

Even though it was great at being at the top of the world where they are the strongest and untouchable, it slowly got boring. It didn't even take them a long time to realize that. Some of them were so bored with their life that they couldn't even think of anything to do that was entertaining and it got even worse after hitting the 200-year mark, that is when everything collapsed.

Of course, all of them were grateful for this kind of life because they could see their family happy and safe at all times. They each have their own family to take care of and just seeing them happy and safe was enough for them, but deep inside they still couldn't forget that feeling of being on the battlefield. Some would be shocked and say that they were insane because no one would want to be on the battlefield and would just rather have a normal life where there is no bloodshed. But being a fighter already that have been on the battlefield for centuries, they were used to it that is why they also miss it.

"Are all of you now regretting that you became the pinnacle of the world? Well… I still think that you are having it easy on you, even though I already said this, I'll say it again. What you are feeling right now is what Lucifer has been going through for more than 700 years, though she has it worse because she doesn't have a family like all of us." Solar sighed and just as she was about to add something more, she felt a chill run down her spine, and without even hesitating, she attacked whoever it was behind her.

"Talking down on me already, huh? I guess you also changed, I mean you gained a backbone that you didn't have all those years ago when you were still crying in my arms begging me to help you clear Gates." Mio laughed as she easily cached Solar's spear by pinching it with her two fingers.

"Goddess Lucifer…" When everyone saw Mio, they almost knelt on the ground to which she stopped immediately saying that it was unnecessary, but just as she was about to continue with her words, she was stopped by Solar who lunged herself at her which she simply grabbed her by the head before lifting her in the air which made everyone laugh because this was a scene that they hadn't seen for a long time.

"I may be lonely, but I'm still stronger than you. So like what Lisa and the Yin and Yang twin said about me, you should really think before you say anything." Mio said with a chuckle as she finally lets go of Solar who pleaded to be forgiven before looking at all the rest of them even more clearly now.

"I take that all of you are still doing good… But again thanks for your cooperation earlier, I really appreciate it." Mio thanked them as soon as she got the chance because she couldn't possibly think of a way to win if her own Master said that would be near impossible for them to win against those Monsters.

When everyone heard their Goddess thanking them, it made them shake because they could clearly feel that it came from her heart, some of them didn't know what to say, while some just said that it was nothing and that it was the least thing that they could do.

"It's nothing, Goddess Lucifer, but can I ask something, is our situation really that dreadful that you were even forced to ask us?" Nayeon asked with a curious tone but deep inside she was hiding her nervousness because she didn't want the same thing to happen again after all those years, she had lost a lot in that war, and that is something she doesn't want to come back.

"Yes… I even wish that I was wrong, but I'm not. We are in a very difficult situation right now which is why I am asking you all if you are thinking why I didn't ask the rest and yes even though they are a powerhouse of their own which is something not I can refute, you already know the reason why. They're too greedy, I give them an inch but they take a mile." Mio said with a pained smile behind her mask which none of them saw or even heard, even her closest friends thought that she was only mocking them even though in reality she was sad about this.
