"That is not acceptable! Who are they, Mother!? I'll order an arrest on all of them immediately because that is child abuse! They bullied a child just because she was born like that, how can they have the heart to do that?" The nervousness in Alice has completely vanished and it was not replaced with anger towards those people who have bullied Somi and if she could, she would kill all of them herself. But sadly it would do more damage than help, so she wanted to issue an arrest.
"There's no need for that, you can already guess what happened to them. I mean you saw firsthand what happened to the people who tried to mess with Somi, right? The only reason that little Aika wasn't under Mio's custody is that when their parents died, Somi was put under the care of their Aunt, but it was worse than hell there, and when Mio got knowledge of it, she murdered them even if they are a part of her family, and from that, she got full custody of her little sister, which led us to where we are right now." Solar explained and hearing the full story of the siblings, the two were shocked.
They were both feeling the same, extreme sadness and pity towards Aika, while feeling extreme anger towards the people who bullied Somi. Even though they had only seen her for a few days and had short contact with her, they could see that she was a sweet and kind girl even though she was quiet. Knowing that she was bullied in the past, the two of them could only hope that she could recover from that, but it seems that she was still far from it. But after knowing this, they will definitely help her.
"So this is the reason why she keeps bringing her here, at first I thought that it was strange because the Grand Saintess will definitely have servants in her house who will take care of Aika, but because of what happened in the past, that can't happen," Carol muttered to herself while pondering to herself.
"Then Auntie, I'm assuming that even with the blindfold she can still see, right? I have seen her walking without a cane, and I thought that she had just gotten so used to everything that she was able to walk without it, but it doesn't seem to be the case if she isn't really blind." Carol deduced and when Alice heard it, she was shocked as she didn't think of that.
But after thinking about it, her cousin was right. It was weird to see a blind person not have a cane or a walking stick to at least guide her when she was walking, it felt as if she always knew where she was going. She even saw it firsthand, how Somi casually picked up a teacup to drink from it, she didn't even have to locate the cup by going through the entire table, it was as if she already knew where it was.
"Yes, the only reason she is wearing it is because of her complex, now please, and I cannot exaggerate this any further. Please do not try to let this information leak and most importantly, never let little Somi know that you know her secret already. Just treat her normally as if she is a normal girl because in her whole life that is the only thing that she wants." Solar said and she precisely told them to never let this change how they act towards Aika.
"Yes, don't worry Mother. I get your point and Mio's point. But I do have one more question, it's fine if you can't answer it. But what is exactly Somi's power? You said that all of her Power went to her eyes right, so what does it exactly do?" Alice asked the question that was going in her mind as well as Carol's. They were both curious to know, because if she had to pay for her Mana and System, then her eyes might be extremely powerful.
"I actually don't know, I haven't gotten to see it myself when it is taken off. Only Mio knows it herself and that is something she refuses to say something about. Even to me." Solar shook her head and it was just as Alice and Carol expected, but they didn't feel sad about it because for them it was only normal to have secrets like that, she should be even glad that they got to know Aika's past so that in the future they can take care of her better.
"I see… alright! Mom, we will definitely do as you told us, you can go back to whatever you were doing now. I'm sure that the Palace is already looking for you." Alice said as she then said goodbye to her Mother before dragging Carol out of the hall which left Solar all alone, and when she saw that they were gone and far away, she called Mio to relay news to her.
"That's good, see you tomorrow then. The World Meeting, I will hold it at exactly 9:00 in the morning, you can set up all the arrangements now such as the media as well as the place. I'll let you handle all of it." Mio said and when she got a confirmation from her, she thanked her before transferring money to her as payment before closing her phone.
Tomorrow was going to be different for her as this was the first time she was going to reveal herself to the world and she could already see all of the trouble that was going to come with it, but she also knew that she had no choice but to do this. The earlier that she does it the better, the only reason that she is doing this is so that when she leaves Earth, she will have peace of mind.
But just as she was thinking about all of this, she just remembered the most important thing that she had forgotten, no one would take care of Somi by the time that it happened which is already tomorrow. But the thing is that she would be gone for two days because she already knows that she would be invited to a lot of interviews after that conference which she would condense into just one day, but it was still a long time, and she won't have anyone to take care of Somi in that amount of time.
"Should I ask those three… no they are going with me. I wonder if Alice is up to that job?" Mio questioned herself and was left with no choice, she asked Solar for Alice's number so that she could contact her which Solar happily gave away without even asking why. So after getting it, she called her to ask her a favor.
"Hello? Who is this and how did you get my number?" Alice who saw her phone ringing checked the number to see who it was and when she saw that it was a number she didn't remember, she began to be skeptical but still decided to take the call.
"It's me, Mio. I was wondering if you could do me a favor to me tomorrow." Mio introduced herself before asking her for a favor.
Alice who suddenly heard the familiar voice of Mio almost screamed in shock and even dropped her phone, but she quickly grabbed it before answering her.
"Yes, I'm free tomorrow, I don't have a lot of things to do," Alice answered with a clear happy tone.
"I want you to take care of Somi tomorrow because I will be going on an errand, Solar is busy tomorrow as I just asked her. So I thought of asking you, hence why I have your number. Also, I want you to take care of her for two days. Do you think you could do that for me?" Mio asked her and when Alice heard it, she was momentarily stunned.
Mio silently waited as she knew how hard of a decision this was for Alice since now she knows Somi's "past", so it might be still too awkward for her. So she was expecting her to get rejected since at most it was just normal and because of that, she was wondering if Xian'er and her friends would be willing to do it. But just as she was thinking, Alice finally answered her.
"You can leave her to me, Mio! I will not disappoint you."
