"How… how powerful is she really then? I don't even dare to imagine what kind of tricks and works she still has. I even think that her brain is even more dangerous than her real strength if that is really the case…" Alice exclaimed as she began to look at Mio in a new light, but even though it showcased how terrifying Mio was, she only got attracted to her even more because of this discovery.
She could feel her heart beating faster while looking in the direction of where Mio was, but at the same time, she was feeling anxious and nervous because the more she looked and got to know Mio, the more she felt that she had no way of winning. She felt that she didn't deserve to stand beside her as she was weak compared to her, she was not that knowledgeable in Magic Theory, and this thought made her upset.
"Awww~ You're so cute, you know that? You're now realizing that you're nowhere near her level, right? But you don't have to worry about that, with your looks and talents, I'm sure that there will be a day that you can stand beside her, so what do you say, how about start training with me and your Father again?" Solar said while patting her daughter on the head after seeing the look on her face and from that she already knows what she was thinking about.
"Yeah… I'll go to Gates more often so that I can be stronger and raise my level even more. Mom, do you know what level is Mio currently at?" Alice easily accepted her Mother's offer to train her again and even promised that she would go to Gates once more to level, but she first wants to know what the current level Mio is.
This way she can know how far she is behind Mio so that she can set a standard for herself and give some motivation for herself. It doesn't matter if her level is too high because she has all the time that she needs to catch up to her, but her leveling up and getting stronger wasn't just for the sake of capturing Mio's heart. She also wants to do it for herself as she feels that she has been lacking for quite some time now.
She was the one person who would inherit everything that her parents built and she felt that if she would inherit all of them with her current strength, she would bring down the reputation of her family because she wasn't worthy of it. Right now she understands why people respect her and that is because of what Solar and Saito have built.
"Heh… that is some good motivation right there. Then once you are ready, you can always come back to the mansion. I will accompany you, but for now, let's put this matter aside, what we need to do is to ensure that the innocents will be safe." Somi chuckled before getting serious again as she couldn't just turn her back away from the people who were suffering right in front of her.
"Yes! Mom, you can leave this area to me, so how about you go to where Mio is and help her even though she doesn't need any help, I'm sure with your presence there, it would help a lot to ease her bloodlust." Alice offered and just as she was about to leave, she was dragged back by Solar who pulled her by her collar.
"Mom? What was that for?" Alice said as she choked because of her Mother's actions.
"It would be better if I'm the one who's going to help the people here, it would be better if you're the one who accompanies her since she actually sees you as a junior of her, a precious one that is. As for me… even if I've been her friend for more than a century already, she's stubborn and doesn't like to listen to anyone. So bring me some good news!" When Solar finished her words, she had already disappeared from where was standing leaving Alice all alone before she could say anything.
"Mom! You're such a cheater!" Alice knew that her Mom didn't want to get caught up with Mio's trouble and anger just handed her all the problems which made her pissed at her, she just couldn't believe that her Mother had such a personality that wasn't even like hers even though some people say that she was the carbon copy of her Mother.
"Phew… calm down Alice. There is no need to get mad at your childish and playful Mother." Alice took a few deep breaths before going after where Mio had gone.
When she arrived at where Mio was, she was shocked to see that it wasn't like the place she saw earlier, there was no destruction, and at most, it was completely fine, that is if you ignore the fact that almost all of the people there were screaming for help as Mio passes them.
Their reaction was only natural as the news of London getting razed was already being broadcasted by the whole world, but even if people investigating and even the most powerful Guilds have already arrived to investigate the situation. But what Alice didn't know was that Solar was actually holding them off, but it wasn't because she was buying time for Mio to do her business here, but she was doing it for their safety as she knew that all of the people who will try to stop Mio from doing what she wants will die by her hands.
"Mio… is it fine if I follow you? I'm also worried about the safety of your little sister, Somi." Alice asked nervously if she could follow Mio and in response, she only gave her a side glance before nodding her head. After seeing that she agreed, Alice sighed in relief as she didn't place too much hope that Mio would let her follow her.
"Thank you, I promise that I won't get in your way. I'll only help if you allow me to."
