The only thing that Yumie knew was that everyone would still be able to fight Mio, but she had initially thought that if she wanted to fight her for her position, she would have to wait until Mio caught up with her. But it seemed that she was wrong and she didn't know how to feel about it, but she somehow felt that she could trust her little sister's words, and just to get final confirmation, she looked at Kurokami, but she was shocked as she just shooked her head meaning that even she doesn't know about it.
"I didn't lie, Mother did really say that. She even said that she could one day rival you in the future if given the right amount of time and she also said that she…" Somi stopped midway as she was not sure if her next words were appropriate to say, but when she was asked to continue, she had no other choice.
"She is what? You can continue, I promise that I won't be mad at you." Yumie encouraged her to speak further, but when the next words came out of Somi's mouth, everyone was simply too stunned to speak.
"Okay… if you say so, but please don't be mad at me, I'll repeat every word of Mother now. "Mio is a one-of-a-kind talent, I'm not even sure why she was born in the Mortal Realm, but one thing is for sure, she is born to rule, but of course just below me of course. That is why I want her to be the leader when she goes to the Immortal Realm. Somi repeated exactly what her Mother told her.
"Am I hearing things correctly? Marriage partner? What the fu- No, why even? Did she explain why?" Yumie was so shocked that she couldn't even form words correctly, as for the others after they got ever their shock, they quickly understood what their Mother was planning for their poor oldest sister. After realizing it, they couldn't help themselves but chuckle which just made Yumie even more confused.
"I think you need to think that through for yourself, big sis. Think about it this way, what do all of us have that you don't? If you can answer this, then I think Mother is right about pairing you up with her." Aika laughed it off slightly before she walked back to the portal going ahead of everyone, everything was clear already so there was no need to stay any longer.
But even with Aika's words, Yumie didn't know the reason why her Mother would make such a decision for her. So she just left with a confused look on her face while Katsumi was having fun teasing her big sister for not knowing such an easy answer to such a question. Even Somi couldn't help but giggle to herself, but as for the woman in question, Mio was dumbfounded by everything.
Never in a million years would she think that her Master would ask her to marry one of her precious daughters, she knows that she loves to spoil her children and loves them very much, and thinking that, there was no possible way that she would think of such a thing. Marrying her daughter to a Mortal was a wild dream.
"No need to get serious there. You don't have to worry about a single thing, such a decision is still not real. It is true that she is thinking about that because she somehow thinks that both of you are going to fit in as a couple. But she did say this, if the two don't fall in love after 1 year of being together, then she will close it, and it is exactly what I said. You will be forced to be with Yumie for some time. So good luck~" Kurokami smiled as this was news that she actually knew since she was the first that get to know this information from Yuki. With that, she also took her leave, but before she left, she didn't forget to kiss her daughter on the forehead and say her final goodbyes before stepping into the Portal.
After that, the portal closed, and the entire place got quiet just like that.
"Can we go home now, Mio?" Somi asked while she tugged at Mio's hands while trying to keep herself awake. She was tired as it was a very tiring day for her. In just a span of one day, she has learned so much about her family that reading all those years.
"Yeah, of course, Lady Somi. We can go home now. Everyone, I'll see you back on earth if I have the time, you can visit me anytime since you know where I live anyway." Mio said as she completely disappeared from everyone's eyes while carrying Somi in her arms.
Meanwhile, everyone was still speechless after they heard everything, but the most shocking thing was the fact that Mio was going to get someone who she didn't even know well because of her Master's orders. Her being the Leader of the 12 Constellations isn't even something worth considering in that topic.
But even though they have a lot of things to say, they can't because they know that someone would get mad at them. It might trigger a chain reaction that would lead to the destruction of their friendship and that is something not worth happening, so all of them said their own goodbyes before finally leaving.
Back to the side of Mio, she was finally home, and to her surprise, Somi actually fell asleep during their journey. She was sleeping soundly in her arms and from the looks of it, she was having a nice dream as she kept smiling while sleeping, this made her feel nice inside because it seemed that she did a good job. Somi now can sleep soundly knowing that no one in her family hates her, or is afraid of her powers, they just don't know how to communicate with her.
"Goodnight and have a sweet dream, lady Somi…" Mio smiled as she then placed Somi on her own bed before taking leave without making any noise.
"Looks like I would be extremely busy in these 3 years. But it's not bad, I guess this is the result of having the most important person in my life to visit me again after all those years." Mio said as she opened up a wine bottle before pouring herself a glass and began drinking it.
"But… what am I going to do with lady Somi while I'm out? I can't just leave her here and I can't even take her to those guys since they are very busy and won't have any time to take care of her… Should I just take her with me?" Mio questioned herself as she begins to think of ways on how to take care of Somi properly while she is staying by her side.
Without any choice left, she was forced to take Somi with her while she worked there. Of course, that means that she is going to bring her by her side at all times, even if she is teaching a Class. But it was not that bad to begin with since in reality, she just had two Classes to attend, her main Class which was Class E, and the large class which took 3 times longer as it was a 6 hour class without a stop.
