Concordia reassembled Aera's Archers in the Desert. After exchanging pleasantries, Concordia commenced the day's lesson.
"Today, I will be teaching you about the Earth's Circulatory System" Concordia said.
"The Earth has a Circulatory System?" the Archers seemed amazed.
"Indeed, in fact, the Earth has three Circulatory Systems. The first is referred to as a 'Hot Circulatory System', the second is referred to as a 'Cool Circulatory System' and the third is referred to as a 'Warm Circulatory System'. I will explain each of them in detail. The Hot Circulatory System is primarily embedded in the Mantle Of The Earth and is composed mostly of the Magma circulating deep beneath the Earth. This Magma is composed of various elements fused through liquidization as a result of Heat. These fused elements are responsible for the Magnetic Field surrounding the Earth. The Magnetic Field surrounding the Earth is created and sustained when these elements interact in the form of Magma thus triggering wide scale ionization. In addition to that, the fused elements also release noxious gases as they interact with one another. These gases can be referred to as 'Miasma'. These gases build up within the Earth's Mantle very much like the Vapour in a boiling Cauldron sealed shut. Due to this phenomenon, enormous pressure is generated within the Earth's Mantle causing these gases to attempt to escape the Earth's Mantle. This creates Pathways within the Earth's Mantle similar to the Blood Vessels in the Human Body. The Gases and Magma flow through these Pathways carrying the Mineral Elements within the Magma towards the Earth's Crust. When these Gases and the Magma that creates them are ejected from the Earth's Crust, Volcanoes are created.
Within the Earth's Mantle lie numerous Pathways through which the Magma flows. These Pathways are responsible for circulating the Minerals and Gases contained within the Magma throughout the Earth's Mantle and Crust. This is similar to how the Blood Vessels in the Human Body carry Gases, Hormones and Nutrients to every part of the Human Body. This 'Hot Circulatory System' also has another function and that is to regulate the Temperature Of The Earth. The Magma within the Earth's Mantle is responsible for heating up the Earth and keeping it Warm. However, in extreme cases, it can also act to trigger a World Wide Ice Age through extreme Volcanic Activity that blankets the Sky in Volcanic Ash thus obscuring the Sun and preventing its rays from reaching the Earth. It can also affect the Earth's Magnetic Field exposing the Earth and its inhabitants to the chill of Outer Space. That's about it for the 'Hot Circulatory System'" Concordia explained.
"I see, so the Hot Circulatory System is responsible for Mineral Distribution within the Earth" Mei realized.
"Exactly, now it's time to talk about the 'Cool Circulatory System'. The Cool Circulatory System is similar to the Hot Circulatory System in some respects but also slightly differs. The Cool Circulatory System is composed mostly of the Sea and River Networks that circulate the surface of the Earth. Unlike the Hot Circulatory System which predominantly acts to Warm the Earth, the Cool Circulatory System is responsible for cooling the Earth. This is primarily achieved in two ways. The first is via the Frozen Oceans at the Earth's Poles which cool the rest of the Oceans and thus acts to absorb most of the Heat Circulating the Earth and the second is via the Ocean's ability to mass produce Oxygen which is expelled into the Atmosphere by the Life-Forms within the Ocean particularly, the Plant Life and Microorganisms. This Oxygen reacts in the Earth's Atmosphere to form Ozone which protects the Earth and its inhabitants from the Sun's Harmful Ultraviolet Rays and can sometimes fuse with Hydrogen to generate Rain which maintains the Rain Cycle of the Earth thus regulating Water Circulation. In addition to that, River Networks are responsible for fertilizing the Sea and purifying it. Without River Networks, that is, Fresh Water Sources, the Sea would be so concentrated in Salt that no Living Creature could survive within it. Also, River Networks carry Silt and other Nutrients from Forest and Mountain Regions and deposits them in the Sea. As a result, Coastlands are usually very fertile" Concordia explained.
"I see, so the Cool Circulatory System is responsible for vitalizing the Earth by generating breathable gases, for cooling the Earth, fertilizing the Earth and Seas and for purifying the Seas" Mimi realized.
"This brings me to the Third Type Of Circulatory System called 'The Warm Circulatory System' which acts when the Hot and Cool Circulatory Systems merge and thus act to counterbalance each other. The first function of the Warm Circulatory System is to generate landmasses. Where the Magma in the Mantle Of The Earth meets the Water in the Oceans Of The Sea, landmasses are created. These landmasses are created when the Coolness Of The Oceans nullify the Heat in the Magma Of The Earth's Mantle and thus stabilizes the ions in the Magma thus transforming these Ions into Atoms. These Atoms condense and become heavy as a result of the coolness generated by the Oceans leading to the Formation Of Landmasses. You could say landmasses are generated via the fusion of Heated Magma with Cool Water. This is the first function of the Warm Circulatory System. Its second function is to act as a filtration system for the Oceans thus purifying Ocean Water to generate Fresh Water. As the Salty Ocean Water seeps through these landmasses, the Salt in the Ocean Water is gradually separated from the Water. The Fresh Water then flows through the Earth to the Highlands where it may at times burst out of the Earth in the form of a Spring. This Fresh Water then flows towards the Sea carrying Nutrients, Silt and other Minerals back into the Sea to purify it and prevent it from becoming overly concentrated in Salt. The third function of the Warm Circulatory System is to aid the Oceans in circulating the Nutrients within it by generating Ocean Currents. Ocean Currents are usually generated when the Heated Part Of The Water in the Ocean interacts with the Cooler Part Of The Waters in the Ocean. Basically, Volcanoes do not only exist on land. In fact most of them actually exist in the Oceans. When Magma escapes into the Oceans via these 'Geysers', also known as Underwater Volcanoes, it heats up the Oceans. These Heated Waters interact with the Cooler Waters Of The Ocean and in the process generate a form of pressure that acts similarly to a pump of sorts causing the mixture of Cool and Heated Water to generate Ocean Currents which do not only circulate Mineral Elements, Nutrients and Gases throughout the Sea but also aids the Life Forms within the Sea during Migration" Concordia explained.
"So the function of the 'Warm Circulatory System' is to generate landmasses, to act as a filtration system for Ocean Water and thus generate land Water to further purify the Oceans and thus prevent it from becoming over saturated with Salt…" Mimi realized.
