Keiran and Concordia had decided to meet through Zachary and Aera to discuss their plans for the upcoming migration.
"I've heard from Aera that the Desert is unbearably hot during the day. It is for this very reason that most Desert Animals are nocturnal. A lot of people consider a journey through the Desert by day a suicide mission" Concordia informed Keiran.
"That's true. The night isn't much better either. At night the temperature drops rapidly so it can get unbearably cold" Aera threw more light on the situation.
"First, we've got to get our Weavers to weave the right sort of clothing for a Desert trip. The Wind whips up a lot of dust that can get in your nose, eyes and ears. For that reason, most Desert Folk also resort to facial covering" Zachary explained.
"If I tweak my Kraken Andromeda's Pegasus Mode a bit, we might be able to journey by day and by night. If we journeyed solely by night, we'd need eight days and double the supplies to make the trip. I should be able to alleviate that load but I'll need your help Keiran, yours and Zachary's" Concordia said.
"Tell us what you need" Keiran offered his support.
"First, we'll need to talk about journeying by day. We need a way to deal with the Debilitating Heat of the Sun's Rays" Concordia said.
"Why not resort to highly reflective materials for the outer covering of your Kraken Andromeda's Pegasus Mode? You could create multiple layers of defense. The outermost layer will be made of highly reflective materials. The middle layer can then be composed of a vacuum pumped with a highly frigid gas to absorb the Heat that is absorbed by the Mirrors. Then for the inner part, we could generate oxygen for breathing. That will imply that the entire structure will have to be airtight though. You could coordinate us with your extrasensory perception while I generate oxygen within the structure housing the people and a frigid gas within the vacuum between the Mirrors and the inner structure. During the journey by day, this should disperse the Heat" Keiran explained.
Concordia's eyes widened in surprise and then she smiled.
"I should have expected no less from an elementalist such as yourself. I'm impressed. With this we've settled how to handle our journey by day. What about our journey by night?" Concordia asked.
"Thanks for the compliment Concordia. To answer your question, by night, we'll alter the Mirrors to a highly conductive material. We could also turn the reflective surface of the Mirrors inward so that the Non-Reflective surface which will be dyed black will absorb Heat. I could then infuse the vacuum with a highly combustible gas instead of a frigid one and then ignite it. The innermost structure which will also be made of a highly conductive material will then absorb the Heat from the Vacuum and channel it through the Hollows containing our people to ensure that we remain warm by night" Keiran stated.
"I should be able to maintain the structure. As long as you maintain the gases while generating light within the structure for our people to see, we should be fine" Concordia said.
"I can do that. We've levelled up significantly since we began the game so my MP shouldn't deplete as quickly as when we began the game. I might just need short intervals to rest" Keiran admitted.
"We'll also need to cover our tracks. I usually move behind the entire party with my own group of Archers to erase our footprints as we journey so that we cannot be tracked by the monsters" Aera pointed out.
"You can leave that role to me. I intend to mask our presence with my Kraken Andromeda's Dust Form. If I generate a fierce Wind around us to emulate a Sandstorm, I should be able to mask our presences while erasing our footprints but now it's time to get the Weavers to work. We need the right attire to make this journey" Concordia said.
So with that having been said, Concordia issued new directives to the Weavers who began producing fifty thousand units of clothing that both made mobility easier while offering protection from the Desert's Dust and the Sun's harsh rays.
