We had returned to the Village. In a single day, we had wiped out two hundred thousand of the enemy's units and confined another two hundred thousand to the Hunt Grounds. All that was left was to come up with the means to outwit the remaining two hundred thousand Wraiths assigned to the Farmlands.
Joseph was very fatigued after the battle due to my releasing the Seals Of Endregen and Kolmnid. However, I had utilized the seal of Ryugaeia to transfer most of the fatigue to myself and thus minimize the strain to Joseph.
"I suppose I should let him rest up a bit" I thought to myself.
A WEEK LATER…
Joseph had recovered most of his strength. We had assembled in Bahn VIII's residence.
"I need to know something. Is this Village still on friendly terms with the people of the Village Of Gaya?" I asked.
"Of course, our ancestors even constructed a tunnel between both Villages in case of an invasion" Bahn VIII explained.
"Good, then you'll need to send a message to the Village Of Gaya requesting that they join us on our journey. If I recall, they were a Village Of Builders. They could also help us outwit the Wraiths" I explained.
"Sure" Bahn VIII said. "I'll let them know" he said.
"Any instructions for me as well?" Natalia asked.
I smiled.
"Of course, now that we've recaptured the Hunt Grounds, I'll need you to reassemble the Weavers. Once you've done that, I'll tell you what to do" I said. "Ciella, why don't I leave you to handle things in Natalia's camp. You know what to do. We've been through this before during the Feudal States era. I'll handle things with Joseph and Bahn VIII" I instructed.
"Okay" Ciella said.
So while Bahn sent invitations to the people of Gaya, Natalia began to assemble the Weavers. There were two thousand of them in all.
"The tunnels between this Village and the Village Of Gaya were designed to be kept shut except in case of emergencies. This was to prevent the Weaver Of Calamity's Army from discovering the Alliance that existed between both Villages. Now the Guardians have returned, we can reopen those tunnels" Bahn VIII informed his elders.
First, a message was sent by Falcon to inform the Chief Of Gaya about the recent happenings and the invitation to journey to Olympus together. A reply came with an affirmative response. The people of Gaya had consented to joining us on our journey since they had realized that the Weaver Of Calamity could attack them if they stayed behind. They were grateful for the invitation.
Meanwhile, Ciella acting through Natalia had assembled the Weavers.
"What do you want us to do Natalia?" the Weavers asked.
"We're going to weave enough clothes for the people of this Village and the people of the Village Of Gaya. These aren't going to be ordinary clothes. Consider these clothes Sensory Disruptors" Natalia said.
"Sensory Disruptors?" the Weavers asked.
"Yes, think of them as Clothes designed with the specific intent of evading detection. We'll design these clothes to camouflage form, scent, sound and temperature" Natalia explained.
"How do we go about doing that?" one of the Weavers asked.
"To camouflage form, the clothes need to be designed with the ability to refract Light away from the one wearing the clothes but since the Weaver Of Calamity's army is vulnerable to Light, we'll be designing our clothes with the ability to amplify and reflect Light. That means there are going to be converging lenses between the reflective material on the clothes and the surrounding air. The converging lenses will act to amplify reflected Light. To conceal scent, we'll ensure, a layer of the clothes is composed of a vacuum. This can to an extent nullify sound as well. To deal with temperature, we'll integrate thermometers into our clothes and ensure that conductive materials circumnavigate the entire exterior of the fabric. The thermometers will keep measuring the surrounding temperature while the conductive materials will ensure that the temperature of our clothes always match the surrounding temperature. This should allow us to evade detection in case the enemy possesses thermal seeking senses. To deal with detection by sound, we must ensure that the clothes we create are designed with materials whose molecular structure is as compact as possible even while still flexible" Ciella informed the Weavers.
"We have our instructions, it's about time we got to work" the Weavers said and began to seek out the right materials as well as conceptualize design.
While they worked, the people of the Village of Gaya commenced their journey to our Village via the underground tunnels.
Since the Bloodhounds were confined to a very small portion of the Hunt Grounds, the Weavers could hunt in other areas devoid of Bloodhounds for the materials they needed.
