A week passed with Mitsuki studying Trigger Events under the tutelage of her father Prince Asante. A week later, Prince was ready to progress into a new lesson.
"Today, we will be studying the basic structure of your Sigil, the Internal Titanium Chrono Chrome. To allow you to access its full capability, I will temporarily remove the seal I placed on your abilities" Prince said as his Sigil, Monochron materialized.
"Monochron Army! Formation Four Hundred Titanium Dragons! Awaken!" Prince called as a large number of clocks within Monochron's Dimension disintegrated and reassembled to assume the form of Four Hundred Titanium Dragons.
"Now Mitsuki, you can utilize your Torrential Gravitational Push on these Dragons" Prince said.
Mitsuki obeyed and stretched her hands forward.
"Torrential Push Of The Moon's Gravitational Force!" Mitsuki called.
A sudden force from above weighed the army of Four Hundred Dragons to the ground. Suddenly, a voice rang out from within Mitsuki's Pocket Watch.
"The Requirement for switching Sigil from Dormant to Active State has now been achieved. Awaiting further instructions" the voice said.
"Awaken Internal Titanium Chrono Chrome!" Mitsuki called.
All of a sudden, two great clocks materialized. The first was golden coloured and the second was dark in colour. Surrounding these clocks were countless other smaller clocks resembling the great clocks they surrounded in colour and structure. There were medium sized clocks as well as smaller clocks.
"You probably already know what these two great clocks signify" Prince said.
"The Golden Clock signifies History's Time and the Dark Clock signifies the Weaver Of Calamity's Time" Mitsuki explained.
"These two Great Clocks also signify two ultimate possibilities. The Golden Clock signifies a possible future where humans triumph over the Weaver Of Calamity and usher in great periods of peace and prosperity. The Dark Clock on the other hand signifies a possible future where humans ultimately succumb to the Weaver Of Calamity's grudge and usher in an era of perpetual Calamity. All of History's Time is divided into Twelve Great Periods. How close the hour hand of each of the Great Clocks is to the Twelfth Period ultimately determines which future is coming to fruition. It's literally a race against time or I should say, a race between the Great Clocks over which future will ultimately come to fruition" Prince explained.
Mitsuki stared at both clocks. The hour hand of both clocks was on the number marked eleven. The Weaver Of Calamity's Clock though appeared to be moving slightly faster than History's Clock.
"It appears History has transitioned into a decisive eleventh hour with humanity slightly at a disadvantage. Speeding up the Weaver Of Calamity's Perception of Time in the Mountain Of Olympus seems to have bought us a few precious minutes" Mitsuki realized.
"Yes indeed, but there's a lot that goes into determining which future ultimately comes to fruition. For starters, there are these clocks" Prince said and pointed to the countless small clocks inhabiting the Dimension. "These small clocks each represent a day in history or to put it more clearly, twenty four hours" Prince explained.
Mitsuki looked at the small clocks and noticed that while the Golden Clocks moved clockwise, the Dark Clocks moved counterclockwise.
"The Golden Clocks represent Days Of Peace in which acts of Goodness, Kindness and Virtue were carried out by Human Beings acting out of goodwill. The Dark Clocks moving counterclockwise on the other hand signify days when a human acting under the Weaver Of Calamity's influence caused irreparable harm. Regardless of the direction the clocks move in, whenever a Golden Clock performs a Revolution, a second in History is achieved. When the Dark Clocks on the other hand performs a Revolution, a period of Calamity is achieved" Prince explained.
"I see" Mitsuki realized what her father was getting at.
"The clocks are linked by sequence and by possibilities. Each Golden Clock has a Dark Pair. You could say each Golden Clock has a Dark Twin. Thus for each Day, there is a Golden and a Dark Clock. This represents a possibility either for Peace or for Chaos. The Clocks closest to History's Clock and Calamity's Clock represent the first days of History. The possibilities converge as they approach the first days of History. As multiple Clocks are activated or deactivated, the possibilities begin to diverge and branch off from one another flowing away from the Golden Clock Of History and the Dark Clock Of Calamity. Either way, when a Golden Clock performs a Revolution, its Dark Pair is deactivated permanently and when a Dark Clock performs a Revolution, its Golden Pair is deactivated permanently. The Cumulative Revolutions Of Golden and Dark Clocks determine which Great Clock, either the one of History or the one of Calamity is close to completing its Cycle" Prince explained.
"Makes sense to me" Mitsuki admitted.
"For each Day, there is a Predominant Choice to be made by the Collective Human Race. It is sort of like a question that must be answered by all of Humanity as a Collective. This is what is known as a Predominant Trigger Theme. Revolving around this Predominant Trigger Theme which is also a possibility for an ultimate outcome for the Day are a series of less significant choices which you can refer to as Serial Plots. These Serial Plots are carried out by Actors who of course may be Humans or Forces in nature. Predominantly, what happens in the Real World is influenced by Humans however Forces also possess the power to direct events from behind the scenes. Forces mostly act as Directors. If you forget everything I've just said keep these four phrases in mind, Predominant Trigger Theme, Serial Plots, Actors and Directors" Prince explained.
Mitsuki nodded.
"That brings us to the third type of Clock, the Medium Sized Clocks. These Clocks as you already know represent Lives" Prince explained.
Mitsuki nodded and listened closely.
"The Golden Coloured Medium-Sized Clocks represent a single human each and his or her respective lifespan. Its Dark Coloured Counterpart signifies the degree of influence the Weaver Of Calamity has over that particular human's life. The degree of influence the Weaver Of Calamity has over an individual's life is ultimately dependent on the Serial Plots they participate in and how that Plot contributes to the Predominant Trigger Theme for each day in their lives. The accumulation of good choices lead to a life where the Weaver Of Calamity's influence is minimal. Likewise, the accumulation of bad choices lead to a life where the Weaver Of Calamity's influence is predominant. However, there is another interesting thing to consider when dealing with the medium sized clocks and that is Degree Of Influence" Prince explained.
"Degree Of Influence?" Mitsuki wondered.
"Exactly, just like the Small Clocks which represent Days are linked by sequence and possibility, the Medium Sized Clocks which represent Lives are linked by the Degree Of Influence one Human may exert on another Human. This Degree Of Influence is the ability to influence Decision Making Ability or simply put, Choices. The ability of a human to influence another human can also determine the Degree Of Influence the Weaver Of Calamity can exert over both Humans. If a Human is able to influence another Human towards contributing positively to the Predominant Trigger Theme for the Day, they can both sever the Weaver Of Calamity's Influence over their lives for the duration of the Day, slow down and possibly halt the Revolution of the Dark Clock for that Day and by implication slow down or halt Calamity's Clock while speeding up History's Clock. How long they can keep this up can determine for how long they remain out of the Weaver Of Calamity's Radar. The reverse is just as true. When a Human wilfully makes bad choices for the Day, they can impact the Predominant Trigger Theme for the Day negatively and thus fall under the Weaver Of Calamity's Dominion for the duration of that Day. How long they keep making bad choices determines for how long they remain under the Weaver Of Calamity's dominion. A human under the Weaver Of Calamity's dominion may affect the lives of those he or she is connected to in deplorable ways thus speeding up Calamity's Clock. Likewise, a Human who rejects the Weaver Of Calamity's influence may affect the lives of those he or she is connected to in amazing ways thus speeding up History's Clock and slowing down Calamity's Clock" Prince concluded the lesson.
"I see. Thanks for the lesson Dad" Mitsuki said gratefully.
"You're welcome" Prince said.
