Aileen I took Arlene to a Plain.
"There are many kinds of Sensory and Extra-Sensory Perception as we explained before. The simplest method to awakening Extra-Sensory Perception is to sync Wavelengths with any element within your environment you have an affinity for. It's similar in some regards to tapping into a Radio-Frequency and being able to receive all info being transmitted via that Frequency" Aileen I explained.
Fenrir approached them.
"Since you have an affinity for Wind, why don't you attempt syncing Wavelengths with the surrounding air?" Fenrir asked.
"APPEAR! CARRIER OF WORLDS! CHRISTOPHER!" Arlene called and her Sigil materialized before her as a Screen.
Next Arlene shut her eyes, stilled her mind and focused. After a while, vast images of her surroundings materialized within her mind. She opened her eyes and noted that Christopher had mapped everything she saw.
"Whoa! I see! With this method I don't have to personally survey the land to map it out. I only need to sync to the Wavelength of a particular element once to permanently map out that area" Arlene realized.
"However you'll notice blank regions within your map. They are areas where the Wavelength of Wind in the environment differs from the Wavelength of Wind you've synced to. Put simply, utilizing the Radio-Frequency analogy, you can't hear info being transmitted through a frequency you haven't tuned into" Aileen I explained.
"But if the Wavelength of Wind surrounding a particular region I've already mapped out isn't static but continuously varying, how am I able to track realtime occurrences within that environment once I leave it given that the Wavelength granting me visibility of that Region has been altered?" Arlene asked.
"A very wise observation. Simply put, the initial Wavelength you synced to is sorta like a benchmark describing the initial state of the environment you've mapped out. From then on, you can monitor varying degrees of alteration to the Wavelength of Wind in that environment by utilizing the original Wavelength as a point of reference so when the Wavelength of the Region changes, your Sigil will inform you by how much it has changed. You can then sync your Sigil to the new Wavelength and you'll be able to track the region once more. You can do this as many times as is necessary" Aileen I explained.
"I see! Makes sense!" Arlene exclaimed in excitement. "In other words, through the ability of my Sigil to register a particular Wavelength within a Region and track changes to that Wavelength, I can permanently monitor the Region" Arlene realized.
"Pretty much" Aileen I said.
"Since you've registered the initial Wavelength as well, you should be able to tell by how much the Wavelengths in your blindspots differ from the initial Wavelength" Fenrir explained.
"Thus by syncing to the Wavelengths in your blindspots as well you should be able to now perceive the layout of the region originally concealed by those blindspots" Aileen I explained.
"So what sort of data will I be able to capture regarding the region if say for instance it were the region of an adversary?" Arlene asked.
"There are four major parameters whose data you can capture. The first is the general layout of the Region. This is a Geographical Map of the Region revealing key features and terrain layout. The second parameter has to do with Movement within the said terrain. You should be able to capture data regarding how the adversary moves about the Region. The third parameter has to do with the Resources within the said Region. You should be able to view in Realtime how the Adversary allocates its Resources within the said Region and in so doing determine their priorities. This gives you an idea of the resources being factored into the Adversary's Stratagems and can help you deduce the Adversary's Stratagems including their Strengths and Vulnerabilities" Aileen I explained.
"I see, Layout, Movement and Resources huh?" Arlene wondered.
"There is one final parameter which is the overall climate of the said Region. In other words, you should be able to deduce from the three aforementioned parameters how vigilant or lax the Adversary is in defending their stronghold as well as how their presence affects the surrounding Wildlife. This is the Combative Application of the Gemini System in effect" Aileen I explained.
