We stood in my Dad's Zone within the Hall Of Light, staring into the gaping darkness that was the Weaver Of Calamity's Zone.
"It's time to talk Formations" I said.
Saito quickly activated the Pyrostellis Luminares and through Arlene's Christopher linked it to everyone.
"We can't cross over until we know just what we're dealing with. We've got to locate the Weaver Of Calamity first" I said.
"I suppose it's time for some Energy Conversion then" Keiran said.
"Precisely. We're going to have to sync our energy to at least one energy parameter in the Weaver Of Calamity's Domain. Doing that will trigger Extrasensory Perception. But we must be careful. If the Weaver Of Calamity can do the same, the reverse is just as true" I warned.
Everyone nodded.
"So which Energy Parameter do we link to?" Saito asked.
"It's obvious. We utilize the one Energy Parameter the Weaver Of Calamity will never attempt syncing to. The Element Of Light" I said.
"But there's no Light in the Weaver Of Calamity's Zone" Concordia cautioned.
"At least not just yet. Keiran and I will cross over this time. We'll generate Light around ourselves. Just as we are blind to the Darkness, the Weaver Of Calamity is blind to the Light so instead of giving away our positions, we'll be completely camouflaged" I explained.
"I see, so once we're at the other side, we'll seek out other Sources Of Energy and once we've found one, we'll sync our Light to that Source Of Energy. This will act as a Radar of sorts allowing us to pinpoint the Weaver Of Calamity's location. Once we've found the Weaver Of Calamity, the rest of you can lock unto him. From there we'll proceed. But first things first, Arlene, we need you to check out the Weaver Of Calamity's Zone to find out if we can endure conditions there" I explained.
Arlene did as she was told. When her Christopher was across the Weaver Of Calamity's Zone, it revealed that the air in his Zone was toxic.
"The Toxicity in this Zone seems to be emitted by the Weaver Of Calamity himself. We can't diffuse it without defeating him" Arlene said.
"How do you know this?" I asked.
"It's all flowing towards a single point but I can't pinpoint where exactly" Arlene admitted.
"That's a good start. We can at least tell in what general direction the Weaver Of Calamity is lurking" I said.
"Then we'll need to surround our faces with Aerial Shields. Around our bodies, we must generate fields of Light quite similar to Halos Of Light to mask our presences" Keiran suggested.
"Exactly" I said.
Keiran and I got to work doing as we had planned. After we were done with our preparations, we stepped into the Weaver Of Calamity's Zone. We could breathe because of the Aerial Shields masking our faces. We didn't sense the Weaver Of Calamity making any notable moves.
"I'll sync my energy to that of the surrounding air. You should do the same San" Keiran advised.
I nodded and did as Keiran told me.
Once our energy was completely synced to the surrounding air via the Halos Of Light surrounding our bodies, our field of awareness vastly improved. Every element with the capacity to generate Energy also generated a Wave. Each element could produce an infinite variety of Wavelengths associated with their Wave. This implied that every element with the capacity to produce a Wave also had Wavelengths adjacent to one another. It was through these adjacent Wavelengths that energy could transition from one state to the next. Thus by syncing the Wavelengths of Light surrounding our bodies to adjacent Wavelengths Of Wind in the Weaver Of Calamity's Domain, we now had Field Awareness of the terrain within his Domain.
We found the Weaver Of Calamity. It was a terrifying creature the size of a castle but I knew even this size had been scaled down. It had three heads. One of a Lion, one of an Eagle and one of a Dragon. It had six tails. Each tail had a serpent's head and was alive. We activated the Libra System to attempt to derive some info about this boss. This was the info displayed.
"BOSS NAME: REALITY DESTROYING VIRUS; THE WEAVER OF CALAMITY, ZANBONGFAR! BOSS STAT: IMMORTAL!"
We stared at it in horror.
"That's one fatal bug in the Fabric Of Reality" I gulped.
"Know my Darkness and curse your own Weakness!" the Weaver Of Calamity roared creating a massive storm of Wind.
