We stood talking with Fenrir.
"Your lessons on Lightning are over for now. You should best be preparing to confront the Hall Of Storms. After dealing with that problem, you should find your Dad" Fenrir said.
"What do you mean by our lessons on Lightning are over for now?" I asked.
"I'm not allowed to say anything regarding that matter just yet. Arlene, your parents aren't Dream Knights however, your family line stretches back into the Dream Knight Houses of the Wolf and of Atlas. You are aware of the unique role the House Of Atlas plays. Well, the House Of The Hound and the House Of The Wolf are related. Concordia and Mitsuki are actually your distant cousins on their fathers' line. The House Of The Wolf like the House Of The Hound exists to act as and guard the senses of the other Dream Knight Houses" Fenrir explained.
"I see" Arlene realized.
"I would never have imagined that the three Dream Knights our age with the strongest Sigils are actually related" Saito said.
"In that sense, they are also our cousins. Mitsuki's Mom is our Mom's twin sis, Aunt Ai" I realized.
"So San and Concordia are cousins and rivals at the same time? Pretty weird if you ask me" Ciella said with a laugh.
"Don't take it the wrong way. We're not feuding families or anything of the sort. Our rivalry is strictly limited to the World Of Gaming" I explained.
"What are you getting so worked up about San? Sibling rivalry is a natural facet of life" Concordia said.
"You're complicating matters Concordia!" I growled angrily.
Everyone laughed in amusement.
"Anyway, you've learnt all you need to know for now. Take care, there's a Basilisk in the next Hall" Fenrir said with a sinister smirk.
"Thanks for the tip" we waved and walked out of the first Hall. Its door disappeared and a larger door appeared in its place.
We pushed the large door open and walked into the next Hall. The first thing we noticed was a great surge of Lightning cutting off half of the Field. My Dad's side of the Field had a calm atmosphere with vegetation and rivers. We could hear great storms raging at the other side of the Hall where the Weaver Of Calamity's Zone was.
"So you've come. I would never have expected mere kids to make it this far. I can't say I'm surprised though. Your parents were about your age when we last fought them. I'm certain you've heard of the tales. It would have served us better if you knew nothing of the Tales. Knowledge of the past always leads to caution for those who live in the present. Such caution serves but to hinder lord Zanböngfar's goals" we heard a sinister voice speak.
"Then I suppose we'd best turn the tales into an unforgettable legend and an indisputable fact. Your days of playing with Mankind's Fate are over…Lightning Basilisk Tyrannes!" I said and clenched my fist. "It's time to talk Formations" I whispered to my comrades.
Saito activated our Family's Pyrostellis Luminares and through Arlene's Christopher linked it to us all.
"This battle is going to be dangerous. If we're going to do this, we should send in those of us that have adequate insulation. Basically, I'm talking strong Earth Types. I'd like to keep a few of us here in Dad's Zone for support. Saito, you can utilize your Flame to boost our abilities if we run out of energy. Ariel, use your Blaze to nullify curses if we should encounter any. Ciella, I'm sorry but you'll have to stay with them" I said.
"Why can't we all fight him together?" Saito asked with concern.
"Saito…if we all cross over into the Weaver Of Calamity's Zone at once…WE'LL BE FOULED! A goal scored from outside the Throw Zone doesn't count! We need at the very least, one foot inside the Play Field. That's what you guys in Dad's Zone are. Better to lose one eye than to have one's whole body cast into Hell" I explained.
"I see, you're talking of a battle style the Weaver Of Calamity can't capitalize on" Saito realized.
"It's why I stopped Concordia from resorting to Elements Of Destruction earlier. The slightest animosity in our battle style could become the Weaver Of Calamity's advantage" Keiran said seriously.
"But from what you're saying, you're dragging Concordia into this now" Saito said.
"Concordia understands the situation. I've explained it to her. She's going to have to learn to fight without focusing too much animosity into her battle style. If I attempt to shield her from absolutely everything, her combat spirit might deteriorate and she might hit another kind of wall. It's best she and us all learn the risks through actual combat" Keiran explained.
"Then why can't we fight as well?" Ariel asked.
"It's an issue of affinities little sis. You'd be fried without insulation see?" I said and pointed to the surging lightning that separated both halves of the field.
"Well we're off" I said.
I noticed the concerned look in Ciella's eyes.
"Take care" she said.
"Of course, a promise is a promise after all" I said.
Ciella's eyes brightened up.
"We're marching off…to hunt a Tyrant!" I sang merrily as Mitsuki, Concordia and I walked towards the Wall of surging storms.
