Chapter 120 - EPISODE 120; THE MOUNTAIN OF OLYMPUS! THE ASCENT! THE SEAL OF IDENTITY PART XXVVVIII: THE TERRANEAN BLOODLINE LIMIT! THE BLADES OF HOPE PART XIV: LIFE TAKES ROOT!

I took in a deep breath and sighed.

"The coast is clear you guys. It seems the only Nightmare in this field was that boss of a Basilisk" I called to the others.

"I see, in Ancient Times, one way to settle a War was to defeat the enemy general. By beating the coordinator of the lesser Nightmares, you 'technically' forced the rest to retreat" Keiran said.

"I guess so. You guys can cross into this zone now but there's still an inferno raging here so you'll need to equip yourselves with Blaze. Those without an affinity for Flame should stay within Concordia's Pegasus while they cross over or better yet, you could stay in Dad's Zone until the Inferno is neutralized at the very least" I advised.

"We'll do the latter. Tell us how we can help and we'll aid you from within Dad's Zone till the Inferno at the very least is neutralized" Saito said.

"First of all, I need Concordia to raise numerous Airtight Diamond Domes over the Inferno in this region to gradually burn them out by starving them of the air that sustains them. We need to reduce the temperature in this zone before we can do anything else" I said.

"On it" Concordia said and immediately got to work raising numerous Airtight Domes over the Inferno.

She could use my eyes to see where she'd need to raise more Domes or less. I levitated via my Cape's propulsion abilities, waiting patiently for the Inferno to burn out. As the Inferno began to diminish in strength, the temperature in the Weaver Of Calamity's Zone began to reduce as well.

"Isn't the air toxic San?" Mitsuki asked worriedly.

"It is…however, my Cape's Blaze Abilities sort of grants me immunity to the toxic air as well" I explained.

"I see. So if we had crossed over into the Weaver Of Calamity's Zone with you, the toxic air would have incapacitated us and you'd have had to fight while defending us. The situation would have been many times more dangerous" Mitsuki realized.

"That's one reason. The second reason was because I felt the Basilisk might have had affinities similar to Concordia, Keiran and Mitsuki. If they attempted to fight it without utilizing principles of Neutralization, they would have been jinxed" I said seriously.

"I see…affinities huh?" Concordia realized.

"Exactly" I said.

Once the infernos died out, I issued new directives to the others.

"Now Ciella, Concordia, Arlene, we'll begin to nullify Toxicity by diffusing the Toxic Gases with breathable gases. Arlene, take measurements of my Dad's Zone so that we can have a Standard Figure at the very least" I instructed the others

Arlene took measurements of my Dad's Zone and informed everyone of the Balance Of Gases they'd need to rid the Weaver Of Calamity's Zone of Toxicity. The others got to work generating the necessary gases or atmospheres while paying attention to the balance amongst the gases and ensuring that they matched the Standard Figures in my Dad's Zone.

Eventually, Toxicity was nullified.

"We're done" Ciella, Concordia and Arlene sighed in exhaustion.

"Next, we're going to break the upper part of the Molten Wall separating both Zones so that the Fortifying, Vital and Purifying Flames can flow into the Weaver Of Calamity's Zone" I instructed.

The others obeyed and Keiran, Concordia, Ciella and Mitsuki got to work breaking the upper part of the Molten Wall. Keiran and Ciella did this via their Earth Abilities. Concordia shattered the upper part of the Wall with an Aerial Volley and Mitsuki achieved this via Gravity.

It took quite a while but eventually, the upper part of the Wall was broken allowing the Flames in my Dad's Zone to cross into the Weaver Of Calamity's Zone and light it up.

"Anything else San?" Keiran asked.

"Now, we've got to create tunnels through the lower part of the Wall. The tunnels should be connected via channels to the Rivers and Lakes in Dad's Zone to redirect the flow of Water into the Weaver Of Calamity's Zone. This is the final task. Let's do this quickly" I instructed.

I joined the others in creating tunnels through the Wall while they created channels on my Dad's end. When the channels and tunnels were complete, the flow of the Rivers in my Dad's Zone were redirected towards the Weaver Of Calamity's Zone. The channels flowed all about the hot barren soil in the Weaver Of Calamity's Zone. The heat in the Zone caused some of the Water to evaporate rendering the climate humid.

Over time, grasses began to sprout in the zone, then shrubs, then trees and eventually whole forests.

"Wow! This place is nothing like it was when we began!" the others exclaimed in awe.

"First we dealt with the Heat, then the Toxicity, then the Darkness and finally the Aridity. By putting the elements of Light, Fire, Air and Water in Balance, we altered the climate in the Weaver Of Calamity's Zone to one that was not hostile towards life. All we needed to do next was introduce just a little bit of life from Dad's Zone into the Weaver Of Calamity's Zone via the Wind and Water which carried Seeds and Microorganisms from Dad's Zone into the Weaver Of Calamity's Zone thus allowing Life to take root. We've finally captured the field for Earth Element Users" I said with a smile.

Everyone looked happy and content.
