Earth - 2026
In this year, an abnormal substance appeared on Earth, which scientists named 'mana'. The appearance of such a thick and pure substance initiated substantial growth to the field of science. However, when that substance started spreading throughout the atmosphere, the result was a bit different than what scientists planned. Animals evolved into beasts while humans were on the receiving end of an unexplainable phenomenon, which granted them an ability now named 'The System'. It also granted the humans the potential to wield unimaginable power, which caused there to be ripples among people's ethics and morals which they previously treasured. Humanity was divided into two parts, the Iniquitous Faction, and the Conscientious Faction, each representing evil and good respectively.
After the emergence of mana, the continents joined together to create the Pangea once again.

Conscientious Faction - The Conscientious Faction is one of the two main factions on Earth, alongside the Iniquitous Faction. It consists of those who want to maintain democracy between its citizens and keep the world fair.
Iniquitous Faction - The Iniquitous faction is one of the two main factions on Earth. It consists of those who want to use the power granted by the System Interface to dominate the world through sheer power.

Power System -
Mana - Mana is the energy of life as it fuels the entire cosmos through invisible veins inside the atmosphere and void. Prior to the apocalypse, Earth was unbeknownst to mana since it couldn't be seen nor absorbed. However, due to the Akashic Records' interference, mana was able to be seen if it was in large quantities, cultivated, channeled, and emanated.
Aura - Aura is a combination of one's determination along with mana. It is usually used in the form of weapon or body enhancement, but could be solidified to create structures for a certain period of time with excessive training. It can be learned through the use of the skill, [Aura Manifestation - D]
Skills - Skills are a representation of one's superhuman abilities mentioned on the System Interface. They could be acquired through inheritance, bestowal, creation, and replication, which is mentioned using the word 'nothing' in the novel.
Ranks - Ranks are a way of classifying a lifeform's capabilities while representing it in a specified format. Ranks usually depend on the person's mana, but they might sometimes depend on the person's will and/or skills.
Letter ranks go from [Negative] to [Solid] to [Positive], such as E-, E, and E+
Ranks known to humans - F, E, D, C, B, A, S, SS, SSS
Stats - Stats are a visual and numerical representation of one's specific abilities. Whether it be muscle strength or dexterity, stats are an accurate way of defining a user's capabilities. Stats usually increase alongside ranks.
Stats - Strength, Agility, Stamina, Mana, Dexterity.
