Hello there, I hope you're having a wonderful day!
I'm just passing here to give a quick message:
I have re-uploaded the "Chapter 2: This young master's goals are beyond your comprehension" and "Chapter 3: The (not so) terrible party [1]" as the former had the last lines/ paragraphs based on a novel I had read and the later had a bit of its beginning. I had re-read that and saw that it was too much alike, I felt as if I was stealing someone's work, and I didn't want that, hence I did some slight modifications. It's still a bit based on another novel however, now it's more "original".
And lastly but no less important, I'm sorry for that, for nearly copying someone's work, even if it wasn't intentional, I'm sorry about it. I'll make sure it doesn't happen again.
Anyway, I just wanted to say this to you guys in case you see 3 chapters being uploaded but don't find the other 2.
Having said this, have an enjoyable read! 🍷😎

Letting out a puff of smoke, Hai put his cigarette in his mouth again.
Right now, he and Elena are in front of one, if not the most important facility of Hong Kong.
Hong Kong's power plant.
Hai and Elena's mission is simple: make Hong Kong have a power outage.
Simple in paper, hard as hell in reality.
Hai has a crucial role in Stella's plan, without him, Stella's plan will fail before it even arrives at 30% completion rate.
So, Stella is really putting Hai to trial if he is worth of being her partner or not.
Hai knows about it.
Does he care?
He would probably do the same thing if he was in her place, so he won't be hypocrite and say it's unfair.
Also, when Hai heard about Stella's plan, he agreed to help her.
Her plan and her project are really ambitious, however if they manage to put it out…
Hai's plans are going to become easier and more doable, by a huge margin.
So, until she tries to discard him, he will help her for his objectives.
Or maybe, who knows? She might take a liking to him and stick out with him for something more than a simple partnership.
He wouldn't deny it, he is quite interested in having Stella as a friend.
She seems someone interesting to hang out when she isn't using you as a pawn.
But that's for later.
Right now, Hai and Elena are both inside a black car and waiting for the signal.
Before this mission, Hai explained to Hong Li-Wei and her team the outlines of what he would do and asked what they would want to do.
Although they signed a contract with him and are honoring it, this job or Stella's plan have absolutely nothing to do with their contract, hence they can stay out of this mess to a certain extent.
Hong Li-Wei and her team ended up agreeing to help him as he was the best contractor they ever had and didn't want to let him hanging with something they could help with.
Although the bonus he gave might have something to do with it…
Anyway, right now, Hai and Elena are going to deal with the power plant on the physical side and Hong Li-Wei will take care of the Nexus' side.
"You ready, hon?" Hai asked while putting a faceless white mask.
"Yes, young master." Elena nodded and put a mask identical to Hai's.
"No, no, no. It's 'darling' or 'hubby'. Remember, we can't let they track us down, so we need to use something that wouldn't give our identities or positions away."
Elena blushed behind her mask.
Her young master is abusing this situation to have her call him that.
"H-H-Hubby." With some stuttering, Elena managed to call him by one of his ideas.
Hai nodded.
"Yes, my love?" He obviously wasn't going to let this chance slip.
Elena's face got even redder.
*DING*
Hai looked at his phone and sighed.
"*SIGH*, I will pamper you later, my queen. Now, we got a job to finish." Hai cast a simple magic on them that made their figures blurry.
Elena nodded and opened the door.
Both of them stepped out of the car and looked towards the power plant.
The thing was humungous to say the last.
With four towers at the diagonal points of the building and a large building in the center where the supposedly source of energy came from.
The whole place was surrounded with electrical fences, a force field, a magic barrier and tons of guards going here and there patrolling.
Hai brought his hand towards his ear and pressed a button on his mask.
"Ready?"
A sweet and energic feminine voice answered his question.
"Ready whenever you are, darling~"
Hai raised an eyebrow at Hong Li-Wei's antics.
"Slow down there, lady. First, take me out on a dinner, then we can talk about you bedding me." Hai chuckled at this.
*GIGGLES*
Elena let out a low giggle and Hong Li-Wei didn't fall behind.
"Alright, alright, Mr. Pure. Ready whenever you are."
Hai looked at the power plant up and down and opened his mouth.
"Alright, screw the countdown or whatever, do your magic."
"Right away~"
Right when Hong Li-Wei said this, the power plant's lights suddenly went out.
*SWOOSH*
Hai and Elena vanished from where they were.
"Hum? What is this?" A security guard asked while looking at the lightbulb that suddenly went out.
"Did we get a power outage or something?" He spoke out aloud.
"Pfft! A power outage, in a power plant? Did you get dumber Carl? It seems like your wife has spoiled you to the point where you don't even need to think anymore."
"Oy, you bastard! You don't bring my wife in this!"
*SWOOSH*
"Hum? Did you hear something?"
"Bastard! Don't try to change the topic." Carl yelled at his fellow guard.
Meanwhile, Hai and Elena had successfully entered the power plant's main building.
"Well, that sure wasn't what I expected." Hai commented while looking at the vast nothingness that was held inside the building.
There was nothing, no machinery, no stairs, no personnel patrolling.
Nothing and no one.
"You- H-Hubby, here." Elena quickly corrected herself and pointed at a trap door on the ground.
"…"
Hai looked at the trap door that was hidden by a low-level illusion magic and held in a sigh. This is screaming "trap" in capital letters.
*SHATTER*
Hai waved his hand and the spell broke.
Then, the trapdoor opened to reveal a dark hole with no floor in sight.
Hai didn't bother in looking at it and simply jumped down.
Elena also jumped right after.
After she jumped, the trapdoor closed and the illusion spell was cast again.
Silence returned to the interior of the power plant.
.
.
.
.
"Interesting…" muttered a man who was watching all of Hai's and Elena's actions ever since they entered the power plant.
He turned back and a green light lit up above a door with "3" written in it.
"Code Three, you're up for this. Take them out but toy with them first."
*GROWL*
A growl came from the door and then the green lit darkened until it went out.
The man turned to the screen that showed Hai and Elena easily passing through some security measures and arriving at where something the general public shouldn't know was.
"Let's see for how long you'll last." The man said with curiosity in his eyes.

When Hai and Elena arrived at the bottom of the pitfall they jumped in, they encountered some traps here and there and some rather lethal security measures, however, as it just consisted of guns and magic, it was piece of cake for both Hai and Elena walk through it.
Sometime later, they arrived before a heavy metal bunker-like door.
Hai looked at it and used his mana to scan the place.
"Hum~"
He opened his eyes.
"Hon, there is a battalion behind this door waiting for us. Though it seems that they aren't a species I have seen before." Hai's eyes narrowed.
Elena also got serious. The implications of a species that her young master hasn't seen yet are worrying, to say the least.
*SIGH*
Hai sighed.
"It seems like Stella knows something more than us and wanted to show us whatever is in there." Hai said.
But he will wait until this mission ends for him to judge either this was really a trap or something beneficial to him.
As one says: "Trash for some, a gem to others."
*FUUSH*
Hai froze the metal door.
"Hon, they are yours."
Elena got into a fight stance.
"Yes, h-hubby." She still isn't used to call him that.
Hai smiled and waved his hand.
Then, the whole metal door shattered into small shards of ice.
*SWOOSH*
*THUD*
*THUD*
*THUD*
Elena vanished from her place and knocked out three guards to the ground.
The battalion was in a two rows formation with all of them pointing their guns to the door.
She took down three on the back row and proceeded to take the rest out.
She spun her body and lifted her left leg.
Using of her mana, she made a purple blade at the sole of her shoes and slashed horizontally at the front row, which all the members in it were kneeling on one knee.
*SWIIISH*
With a low sound of meat being cut, 10 head rolled on the ground.
The whole front row was taken out in one move.
Hai who was looking at it while standing back was rather impressed with Elena's combat prowess.
It was not every day that he could see Elena fighting and it was with even less frequency that he saw her killing.
But anyway, she is beautiful in any case so he is only admiring her beauty while ignoring the blood rain that the decapitated corpses generated.
Elena finished her spin by putting her leg down and extending her hands towards the guards still alive.
*PUCHI*
*PUCHI*
The guards dropped their weapons due to the pain they suddenly felt and looked below.
Elena created a claw made of purple miasma that pierced the remaining guards' hearts.
Elena dismissed the miasma and shook her hands.
*THUD*
The bodies fell to the ground in perfect synchrony
Elena took out a battalion of 20 armed men in less than 5 seconds.
Hai then came in and curiously took one of the decapitated heads from the ground and took out the mask covering its face.
When Hai looked at it, his eyes widened slightly and his curiosity died down giving place to seriousness.
"...…"
Hai threw the head away and picked another one.
He took the mask off and threw the head away.
He repeated this process with all of the dead guards.
Elena who saw the abnormal behavior of her young master waved her hand and a head flew before her.
She looked at the head that seemed to be familiar.
The face was quite deformed, as if it was imperfect and looked rather ugly and unhuman.
"Youn- Hubby, what are those?" She asked unsure because even she is starting to feel something off by looking at this head.
Hai took the mask off of the last head and then he got up.
"Don't they look familiar?" He asked while whipping the blood off his hands with magic.
Elena looked at the head before her and then at the other ones.
They all look alike some way or another.
"Yes, although I can't remember who." Elena admitted. The feeling of incongruency was starting to grow almost as if she knows the answer but can't put her finger on it.
*CHUCKLE*
Hai chuckled.
How could he not?
What he just discovered was something that even he, couldn't take and be indifferent to it.
All of his runs didn't prepare him for this.
He doesn't even know if there is something that can prepare someone to this kind of thing.
"They all..." He paused midst his sentence and looked at the end of the corridor where he could see a bright green light coming closer and closer to them.
"They all?" Elena questioned and also saw the bright green light.
"They all look like Ye Chen." Hai said and waved his hand and the bright green light went off.
Elena's eyes opened wide and she looked at the head before her.
And sure enough, now that her young master said it, she can find several resemblances with Ye Chen.
The head's faulty crimson hair.
It's slight blue eyes.
The look on their eyes that seems to be one filled with pride and arrogance, although it's still off, as if those gazes are artificial and not how they felt.
Their cocky smirks even though they died.
Elena looked back at Hai.
"Hon, we might have stumbled into something way more than what we were supposed to know." Hai said when he heard the sound of his ice breaking.
*SHATTER*
The bright green light lit up again and sprinted at their direction.
"This world really hates me, doesn't it?" Hai muttered and made a wall of ice.
