The sun was setting. And as the two walked towards the center of the village,
"Oh!"
"Old man Uso?!"
"How did he mange to get the old man out?"
"Maybe seeing death in the face made him-" Ken's words were interrupted as Leo's fist descended upon his head.
"Old man Uso!"
"He's alright!"
They cheered and shouted, which did make the old man self-conscious, though he would never admit it.
"See? Everyone is happy to see you."
"Yeah..." The old man muttered as he scratched his head.
The whole village was out. Some were standing, while others were seated on wooden benches.
"Since the old man is out..." Ken turned around and brought out the goods. "We're celebrating for real!" He shouted as he raised three pints, filled to the brim, into the air.
"Isn't it a bit early to start drinking?" Leo, the village's chief and defender, couldn't help but chuckle.
