Chapter 11 - Selling Myself

"Bull Butcher?"

Lin Lei was stunned for a moment, and then he realized that he was being called.

"Oh, I forgot," the masked man replied. "That's the stage name you're going to use for the next fight. I haven't informed you yet, but it doesn't make a difference."

Lin Lei, as the person in question, only wanted to curse in his heart. This stage name really was quite twisted.

The nearby Daisy was thinking the same thing. Just as she was about to mock Lin Lei, she suddenly froze.

Lin Lei said that he was sent to a high-class prison cell after a single battle. In addition to his stage name, 'Bull Butcher' and the minotaur that died yesterday...

Daisy, as an experienced combatant, quickly understood. She looked at Lin Lei in disbelief.

"You killed the minotaur?"

Lin Lei replied, "Yeah, it's me."

Daisy's expression was ugly. "Are you lying to me?"

"Hey, you can't just say that. I didn't lie to you!" Lin Lei felt as though he had been wronged.

Daisy clenched her teeth so hard that they were about to shatter. Then, she thought back to the time she had spent with Lin Lei.

It seemed as though Lin Lei really was not lying.

He was already able to kill a minotaur, yet he was still pretending to be weak and asking her to teach him things.

She had taught Lin Lei the secret martial arts of her tribe!

If it were not for the fact that Lin Lei looked so pitiful, Daisy felt that she definitely would not have taught him.

No matter how handsome Lin Lei was, that would not do!

Daisy was just about to fly into a rage when she was interrupted by the masked man. "Alright, alright. Although the atmosphere between the two of you is very good, there'll be plenty of time to flirt in the future. Let's get down to business first."

"Who's flirting with this guy?" As soon as Daisy shouted, the unusually tall figure among the masked men subconsciously put his hand on his waist.

"Alright, alright. Everyone, don't be so jittery. Let's get down to business first."

The masked man in the lead tried to smooth things over and extended his hand to the side. Another masked man handed over a roll of papyrus and a quill pen.

The masked man in the lead took the papyrus and handed it to Daisy. "The recent gladiator competitions are all here. Take a look."

Lin Lei was very curious. He stretched out his hand toward the masked man. "I'll have one too,"

The masked man glanced at Lin Lei. "There's no need to be in such a hurry.

"You still have a long way to go before you can come to this point."

Lin Lei let out an 'oh', then said, "What can I do, then?"

"What can you do..." The masked man thought for a moment before saying, "There's one thing.

"Usually, a gladiator like you who has only fought one battle wouldn't have much fame. Moreover, you're about to face a death match, so there won't be any profit.

"But there really is something you can do."

Lin Lei ignored the words 'death match'. "What is it?"

"Sell yourself!"

The masked man's words fell, and then he said, "You're not bad-looking, and the size of your d*ck is amazing. Someone asked me to find out if you're willing to be sold."

Lin Lei was startled. This was no opportunity.

However, he was interested in the hidden meaning behind the masked man's words. "You can take me out?"

"You don't have to go out. If you agree, I can bring people here tomorrow."

The masked man ruthlessly shattered Lin Lei's hopes of escaping. He continued, "A mysterious benefactor has offered a high price of 300 silver coins. If you miss this opportunity, you won't have another one."

Lin Lei was startled. Daisy had said that an orc slave was only worth four silver coins.

These 300 silver coins could buy nearly an entire company of orcs.

By then, he would be able to eat minotaur meat for two meals a day, which would be enough to last him for two months.

It would be a lie to say that he was not tempted.

He just had to share a bed with someone once. He would not suffer too badly...

Just as he was wavering, Daisy sneered. "Is that noble person a man or a woman?"

The masked man glared at Daisy. "Windtalker, this has nothing to do with you!"

Daisy pursed her lips. "What do you mean it doesn't have anything to do with me? He's right across the door from me. I can't stand to watch two men make love."

The masked man was anxious. "You can draw the straw curtain! Who's forcing you to watch it?"

"Wait a moment. I'm also very curious. Is that noble person a man or a woman?"

The masked man's eyes flickered for a moment before he waved his hand. "That's not important!"

That meant it was a man.

Lin Lei instantly understood and immediately waved his hand. "Then forgive me for rejecting you!"

The masked man saw that this big order was about to slip away in front of his eyes and was a little anxious.

The gladiators were pretty good at fighting, so he could not force them. If he really brought Lin Lei over and forced him, what if Lin Lei killed his employer?

Therefore, the cooperation of the gladiators was of utmost importance. The masked man could only continue to persuade Lin Lei, "This noble person prefers to be treated roughly by others. You know what I mean, right?

"Anyway, you're the one in the dominant position, so what difference does it make between poking a man and a woman? At most, just apply more olive oil."

"I refuse." Lin Lei's reply was very firm.

The masked man was about to continue persuading when Daisy said, "I'm done choosing."

The masked man could only turn around and take a look at the list. He was shocked.

He rubbed his chin and said to Daisy with uncertainty, "Windtalker, are you sure?"

On the list, Daisy had put a '5' next to the name 'Bull Butcher'.

Five silver coins were not a lot, but they represented a firm attitude.

Daisy was a gladiator with 90 wins, so her opinion was very useful.

"He's been my neighbor for two days," Daisy said indifferently. "If I bet on one coin, it'll be like an early funeral for him."

Hearing this, Lin Lei suddenly realized that Daisy was betting on the duel and bet that he would win.

However, the meaning of her words seemed to be that she did not think well of him.

"No, you're saying it as if I'm going to lose for sure."

The masked man looked pitifully at Lin Lei, then handed him the papyrus. "Take a look for yourself."

Lin Lei looked at the name list. His next duel was scheduled for two days later.

The duel was between a gladiator with the stage name, The Butcher.

"Who's The Butcher?"

Hearing Lin Lei's words, the masked man suddenly remembered that Lin Lei was still a rookie in the arena.

However, Lin Lei was still a cash cow, so he patiently said, "A gladiator with 20 wins. That's enough to explain everything.

"By the way, he's a giant."

Lin Lei's eyes were about to pop out.

Crap!

The monster race with an average height of four meters?

In the records of the fox clan, these monsters were born with an innate spell.

The most difficult ones had extremely thick skin, and one might not even be able to break their skin with an axe.

These monsters could ignore arrows and tank-like existences on the battlefield.

Lin Lei deeply suspected that even with the Fox's Assault, he would only be able to perform acupuncture on the monster.

The masked man, seeing the ugly look on Lin Lei's face, continued to ask, "Since you're going to die the day after tomorrow, why don't you try selling yourself?

"300 silver coins means you can buy a pretty good weapon from me. It might even help you turn the tables."
