Although both were Dwarves, and both members of the Alliance, Aerie Peak and Ironforge actually didn't get along. With the War of the Three Hammers, the Bronzebeard clan drove out the Wildhammer and Dark Iron Dwarves, setting the stage for an enduring feud. Although not as extreme as the Dark Iron Dwarves, skirmishes between the two would erupt occasionally during meetings.
