Kalecgos was startled; undead creatures were not uncommon and virtually every continent had undead roaming about. If the cemeteries in cities were not regularly attended to and cleaned, they often produced undead.
But undead creatures were not known for their intelligence, and it was difficult for them to form a significant threat. For such a large-scale gathering of the undead, the only possibility was that someone was controlling them from behind.
Suddenly, an imposing mountain loomed into view.
This peak was abnormally tall and conspicuous even amongst the vast mountains. Ice enveloped the mountain, giving it the shape of a towering spire, and high-level undead swarmed around it, a dreadful chill radiating from the peak.
Even just looking at it, one could feel a surge of fear rising from within.
Kalecgos immediately realized that the strange dragon he was tracking must be connected to everything he was witnessing.
