Orgrim stood on the fortress balcony, looking down at the dense mass of Orc soldiers below, those who were disorganized deserters retreating from the battlefield.
Orc infantry usually marched to war with their clans or were assigned to different legions. Becoming disorganized usually meant one of two things: either their legion had been annihilated, or due to a complete collapse of morale, they had utterly scattered and lost their unit.
Orcs were typically high-spirited, and collapses like these were rare.
So many stray Orcs also indirectly confirmed just how severe this defeat was.
Since the establishment of the Horde, this was the first time they had suffered such a significant defeat.
Why did this happen! Why did this happen?
Gazing down at the disorganized Orc soldiers, Orgrim couldn't help but fall into deep contemplation.
