Mo Fei didn't let them use a normal Banishing Spell. That would have been fine for ordinary elementals, but whether it would work on elite elementals was a gamble.
The high-level Banishing Spell scroll was much more reliable, though more expensive. It had a 66% chance of sending them back, with a high success rate even against elite elementals. To be on the safe side, Mo Fei had three casters use the high-level Banishing Spell scrolls simultaneously. He refused to believe it wouldn't budge.
