Chapter 30 - Chapter 30: the end of the storm or is it only the beginning?

I thrust my bident at the woman but she easily blocked it with her shield at the same time the man moved behind me swinging his sword down at my back but I simply raised my shield behind me blocking it but that's when the woman thrust forward with her spear at my open chest but I simply twisted my body so her spear thrust passed my hitting the man behind me but sadly the spear sparked off his chest plate nothing more that's when the mans sword hit against my shield and the sheer strength I felt from this one attack almost brought me down to a knee but I stood strong with a huge smile on my face but the force pushed me forward but I didn't mind I used that to my advantage thrust my bident at the woman she raised her shield but she wasn't fast enough to stop the attack but she deflected my blade to where her armor was my bident sparked against her shoulder pad she moved her spear back and was about to thrust it forward at my fully open chest I could see the smugness and pride in her eyes but that's when I ducked down and flying over my head was a short sword which hit her spear to the side at the same time I swung my bident hitting the womans feet out from under her but sadly her metal Greaves took most of the blow so much so I dented the metal but she also feel to one knee I didn't let this chance go to waste I stepped forward punching her in the helmet with my shield I heard metal bend and the woman slid back on her knees but she didnt fall to the ground she stayed up and ready I seen the visor on her helmet was dented in slightly and I seen blood dripping from under it but I didn't have time to focus on her cuz the man behind me stepped forward swinging at me shit I gralled as I moved to the side but I wasn't fast enough cuz a cut want down my back but the man wasn't done he twisted his hand and swung his sword up I was able to raise my shield blocking the attack but it pushed me back the man swung again and again each swing I blocked but I was on the defensive and he was pushing me back but I wasn't fast enough and small cuts started to form on my body after the 9 swing I raised my shield like normal blocking the attack but that's when I sensed something behind me shit and I spun to the side but I wasn't fast enough and a spear head sliced into my side leaving a deep cut I glanced behind me to see the woman and she didn't have her helmet on she had dark tan skin with long white hair that moved behind her and her eyes was glowing yellow like the son she was very beautiful even with her nose being broken and blood running down her face she had a smug smile on her face when I seen that smile my instincts was screaming danger but before I could do anything she said boom the second she said that word my wound started to burn I glanced down to see her spearhead was glowing yellow just like her eyes shit I said that's when the blade exploded I got launched away do to the explosion I hit the group a few times flipping and rolling I was looking up at the dark sky the cold rain hitting against my warm face it felt nice my left side hurt like hell I tried to move my body but it felt really heavy but I slowly sat up onto one knee but that's when I coffed up a lot of blood I glanced down to my chest to see most of my coat and shirt was gone my chest was burnt black and my left side had a chunk missing from it the wound was still smoking I heard someone scream my name I looked up to see a spear thrust at my face but that's when everything froze and the world changed around me the ground was washed away by a black sea I was standing back on in that dark sea but how this is what I see in my dreams I started to look around but I didn't see anything but I noticed the woman in front of me was black and white for some reason I seen the man I had been fighting against back where I was blown away on my left I seen Layla had her sword locked with another woman with a long sword but Layla was looking back to me fear on her face on the right side I seen Bill fighting against 4 enemies all with spears wall Slade and Evelyn was fighting against 3 enemies Slade skull was on fire and in his hand was a saber made from fire in his other hand was that odd chain but it was also on fire he was swinging that thing around himself blocking 2 swords wall Evelyn had a odd double-bladed axe made from bone the axe blades was semi-circular made for delivering deep slashes and cuts she was fighting against one man with a spear and no shield I could tell she was struggling but she was holding her own for now I looked back to the woman in front of me she had a confidant smile and those eyes screamed she thought she was better then me that's when I heard footsteps from behind me and I heard a gruff confident voice say look at that expression she is looking down on you an yet you don't feel anything tell me y is that Hunter Nekros and crouching down next to me was a normal sized man he had on a chain shirt with leather padding over it he had no weapon but his legs had this odd metal plate that seemed to move and bend with his legs they supported his legs as for the man himself he had long braided hair but the sides of head were cut short so the braid want all the way from the top of his head down he had these odd blue and grayish eyes he had no beard he was staring at me with those wild eyes I raised a eyebrow let my guess Ivar the boneless when he heard that a huge crazy smile spread across his face that's right lad but answer the question don't you feel anything when you look into those eyes of hers I shrugged not really she is allowed to feel and do anything she wants I do not care if she is looking down upon me or if she thinks she is better besides I would have no right to judge her for two reasons the first being she is winning and the second is I have looked down upon my enemies also so I have no right to judge her Ivar side shaking his head as he stood up and walked next to this woman he leaned against her saying really are you sure you have Greek and Norse blood in you cuz with what I am hearing it doesn't sound like it or maybe are descendants have gotten frail and weak its a shame I glared at him my eyes getting sharp and in a low voice asked what was that I don't think I heard you right Ivar smiled seeing my expression he snapped there it is that fire that determination that's what I am talking about its good to know are descendants haven't lost that fire that feeling when you stare down your enemy and your blood starts to burn with anticipation and you smile and this woman back she flew back she hit the ground one then twice before that man cot her they both looked looked to me the womans eyes was wide I slowly stood up not even feeling the pain coming from my chest and waste I looked to these two with these shadow tendrils moving around me I opened my hand when I did my bident shot into my hand I grabbed it the second I did the blade burst into green flames and the red veins on the shaft started to glow brighter I spun it in my hand round two mother fuckers I gralled when I did my shadow rose up and that blacked winged demon stood behind me with that huge jester smile but something odd happened as it formed from my back formed bone ghost like wings the bones was black and forming under it was purple, black and white feathers and forming on my chest was a purple chest plate I started to laugh crazily as I moved the wings around me I looked back to the two laughing and with a crazy smile I yelled o your so fucked let us dance I jerked my head down and appearing over my face was that black jester mask but unlike before when I used it there was lines of red in the mask like cracks but my eyes burned brightly and a huge smile spread across my mask I disappeared and reappeared right in front of the two I thrust my bident forward the man raised his shield blocking attack my bident stuck his shield the woman laughed is that all I would have thought there would be more with how you talked no matter you will die this time and she was about to thrust her spear at me when froosh thump my bident blade edge glowed brighter and completely cut through the mans shield stabbing him in the shoulder my bident struck against his armor completely cutting right through it at the same time a shadow spear was thrust through his other shoulder from behind as my shadow clown appeared smiling devilishly behind him the man coffed up blood and swung at my but I blocked it with my shield as I shadow walked in front of the woman punching her in the chest with my shield arm she leaned down the air leaving her lungs I then spun around throwing my shield at the man the edge of it starting to glow with blue flames but it was only slightly the shield stroke against the mans helmet leaving a huge gash going across it my shadow jumped from behind him spun and cot the shield he them throw it back to me but I simply leaned to the side the shield just passing my it I heard a sickening crunching noise I glanced to the woman to see her hole breastplate was caved in with my shield sticking out from it I smiled kicking the shield up and out of her blood started to come out from that area my shadow double appeared behind me with his hand raised my shield fell right onto his arm he then brought it in front of him self blocking the mans sword who I could see half of his face from the gash in the helmet his eyes was glowing orange with anger he yelled I will kill you you basterd don't you dear touch her again I glanced back to him with my huge joke smile my eyes glowing green fire balls from anger and in a demonic voice I simply said as if and I thrust my bident forward into this womans chest she looked up to me with wide eyes she coffeed up blood tears fell down her face and she said I am so sorry for your friends and she feel back her eyes looked at the dark sky as the light felt her eyes and falling from her hand was that necklace of dog tags I seen before I heard 3 angry screams as she hit the ground one came from the man behind me that my shadow was blocking the others came from the woman that was fighting Layla both woman had cuts and bruises on them and they was breathing hard wall the last came from the man fighting Evelyn and funny enough as this man was looking at me he was distracted from Evelyn and she used this distraction to decapitate the man his head spun in the air as his body hit the floor the woman and man looked to each other and they nodded Layla swung at the her but she blocked the attack kicking Laylas feet out from under her and the man simply ran passed my shadow and nocked into they was trying to run but we can't have that I crouched down and my shadow ran onto my back I then launched him up into the air he spun around throwing my shield at the man who just got on his horse my shield hit him right in the helmet knocking him off his horse my shield which got deflected to the side from this then flew and hit the woman cleanly cutting her head right off it then shot passed her I raised my arm the shield flying onto it the force and speed jurked my shoulder back that's when I heard a popping noise shit I gralled at this point a silence fell over everything the only thing you could hear was the wind and rain that was it no one moved we all was breathing heard all of us was tired and had wounds but we had won after a few moments I slowly started to walked forward I got next to the man who was laying on the ground knocked out and barely alive I raised my bident and stabbed the end of it into his chest where his heart would be he soon breathed his last I turned around still breathing hard my shadow was gone so was my mask I looked to my friends I smiled at them all and raised my bident and let out a mighty victorious war cry Layla, Bill and Slade joined be wall Evelyn fell to the floor out of breath shaking that odd bone axe was gone and she was looking down at her hands which was shaking Slade then fell next to her he smiled and held out his hand to her she hesitantly took it Slade squeezed it comfortably a free a few more seconds of him just breathing hard he said damn it Hunter next time y don't you leave the party at home before visiting us huh Hunter you hear he looked up at me they all did I had a huge happy smile on my face but my face was pail and in a weak voice I said sure thing pup and like that I hit the ground I heard people scream Hunter! But I soon faded into black.
