Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: the training and a few months

I got to the training ground and like last night layle was cutting dummies in half but this time she noticed me right off the bat she stopped lowering her shield and sword and a beautiful smile spread across her face o Hunter you're here I thought miss Yang would hold you I chuckled saying well she probably would have but since I can do this and I shadow walked in front of her thin behind her she laughed seeing me appear and then disappear I reappeared where I was the first time I looked into her blood-red eyes smiling she rolled her eyes saying show off I shrugged saying you have no idea she chuckled at my Shamelessness but y don't we get started I am excited to see what you can teach me she rolled her eyes again and we walked into the fighting circle she razed her shield and sword in a ready stance I pulled one dagger out and undid the two straps on my sword but I did pull it out after I undid the strap I took out my other dagger when I did Layle was done waiting around she started to step towards me her shield up and her sword ready to attack I chuckled and sprang at her swinging my daggers but both hit the shield and she swung her sword down at me but I deflected it with one dagger and with my other I stabbed but sadly she also blocked that with her shield when my dagger scattered off her shield she swung her shield bashing me in the chest I took a few steps realizing daggers weren't the best weapon against a shield neither was my sickle sword but that didn't mean I couldn't win I just had to work for it and I wasn't going to us my shadow walk cuz that would make this two easy a crazy smile spread across my face and I lunge at her again this time I sidestepped to the right sense her shield was in her left hand I thrust my dagger out trying to stab her in the side and it hit but her armor made my blade scate off it she was shocked but didn't let that stop her from swinging her sword I blocked it with my other dagger but a shield flow and slammed into my face I stumbled back but after a few seconds my vision want back to normal but I heard a sword cutting through the air I leaned back cartwheeling her sword flying over me I smiled wildly and lunge at her again this want of for an hour I didn't even land a cut on her but I had scratches and a few small cuts even when I started using my sword it didn't help me half of it was cuz I was experienced fighting against shields the other half was cuz the sword wasn't the proper wait for me but I mad Layle work for every hit I was laying on the ground looking up at the story sky the moon wasn't bright so you could see all of them my chest razed and lowered quietly but after a bit my breathing want to normal Layle stud over me she had a pretty smile she held out a hand I took it standing up I dusted the sand off my back saying sand it gets everywhere she let out a little laughed saying then maybe don't lay down in it I smiled guiltily we walked over to the bench sitting down we didn't talk we just looked up at the stars and feeling the cool night but after a bit Layle finally, side saying Hunter will you be honest with me if I ask you a question I shrugged saying I am a open book all you got to do is ask and I will answer honestly she didn't say anything after hearing my words I glanced at her and I could tell she really wanted to ask me something but she was hesitating I was about to say something but she finally asked in a quiet shy voice said what you said last night about me did you really mean that I smiled and looked at her but she was trying not to look at me so I simple answered her yes I did when she heard that she quickly turned to me shock on her face really she asked I simply nodded yes Layle you are hot and if any person can't see that then they are blind when she heard my words a beautiful smile spread across her face and she asked o what do you think makes a hot woman I smiled wildly and shrugged for me it all depends on the girl and it changes for each girl but for you it's simple your a strong and dangerous girl mixed with you wild and beautiful look plus your personality to me that is smoking hot she chuckled saying you're a strange man Hunter I shrugged so I have been told I said smiling she rolled her eyes smiling to but her smile soon faded when she thought of something so I asked what's on your mind Layle she side leaning back looking at the stars again saying I was just thinking what Chiron told us about the holy Knights there is a storm coming Hunter and I don't know if we can win I laughed evilly saying let them come then we can show them to stop fucking with us Layle looked over to me surprised Hunter don't you feel anything after killing another human I side and it was my turn to look up to the stars I did at the beginning Layle but after that I realised it was either me or them and even though I have only been here for a day I feel at home at this place and if I got to kill them all I will to protect my home besides dead is sort off my thing a Prince of two underworlds I felt a hand grab mine I looked over to see Layle holding my hand but she was glaring at me Hunter just cuz your a prince of death doesn't mean you a monster I won't let you insult your self if you do that again I will kick your ass do you understand me I chuckled at her angry glare you know Layle if you keep on flirting like that I might fall for you she blushed a bit but still held my hand and she still was glaring at me and again she asked in an ice Voice said do you understand me I smiled yes mam I understand she side her angry look fading but when she realized what I said her hand started to clinch mine and she turned to me slowly and In her blood red eyes was a fire a shiver want down my back when those eyes feel onto me and in her calm normal voice asked what did you call me but this voice to me was like the devils I thought about my next few words but I side realizing that I couldn't back out know and I just fucked up slowly I repeated my words I said yes mam I understand her hand squeezed harder onto my hand and that fire in her eyes got bigger but in that same calm voice she said that is what I thought tell me Hunter do I look like a mam to you I thought about my next words and I had to do it fast no you look like a hot and dangerous young lady who could kill me and hide my body with ease and who I am definitely falling for and like lightning the fire in her eyes was gone and she stopped clenching my head but she still was glaring at me but her cheeks started to turn red and I could tell I just Fried her brain and like she was running autopilot she let go of my hand stood up and started to walk to her Cabin luckily she didn't leave anything behind I wiped my head resting my shoulders saying that was to close I could have died I laid there for a bit just looking up at the stars till I side saying get up you lazy ass and I started to shadow walk to the Hades Cabin I was trying to practice my range after a minute I appeared in the Cabin Raven was sleeping thank gods I walked over to the bookshelf and want on with my business I read about how a son or daughter of Hades could talk and summon spirits but to summon them it takes a tail on the mind and there are even some rituals after that I closed the book and disappeared out of the Hades Cabin and Head over to the Hephaestus Icarus was smoking a black cigarette sitting on the stairs when he saw me appear he simple nodded and put out his cigarette and we want inside today I did basically the same thing I did before he just added more steps and he also should me how to sharpen weapons and what metals was good and what was shit the last thing he should me was the mine yes a fucking mine if I couldn't let before I could know when we walk through that door to the forge it's a gateway to this place Icarus told me tomorrow we will be mining after that he will tell me what metal he wants and I will have to go find it after that we was done and it was breakfast time I sat down at the Hela table Raven sat with us she looked well rested we made are offerings to the gods I wasn't to hungry so I gave most of it to them as we were eating I looked over to the Ares table and seem Layle staring at her food her eyes were glossed over I chuckled seeing that Raven was about to ask something but Gimli stepped stud up clearing his throat everyone quieted down good norse Cabins I expect to see you on the training ground fully armored and ready for combat dismissed and like that all the kids at norse tables got up and quality put there plate and cups in the was crate after that they ran off in the detection of their cabins the Hela table was not the exception Triple P and brother K stood up fast and Triple P ordered fast move it yall I ant doing extra drills cuz one of you slacks off we all stood up took care of our plates and cups and we ran off to our Cabin when we got close enough I shadow walked inside into my room luckily I changed shirts but that was it I put on my chest plate, helmet and my ankle braces I strapped my daggers onto my hips and my sword on my back the last thing I grabbed I reached up and took off my shield off the wall it still was blank but right when my hand touched it a image started to appear it was shaped like a triangle and in this triangle it shod an image of a man with a sickle sword in his right hand and a dagger in his other and in front of the man was a girl her head was in the air and the man looked like he just swung and cut the girl head off I was shocked but I jumped down looking at the image it looked so real but I shook my head braking my shock I put the shield onto my back I was ready but I definitely wasn't the first person I looked over to triple P who had on a black skull helmet that covered his face so all you could see was his eyes on his chest was a black chest plate the design was similar to mine but over his left shoulder was a shoulder plate and on this plate had a gold bull's skull the rest of the plate was black this shoulder plate wand down into a metal sleeve but his other arm didn't have this on his hip was a buckler shield it was normal looking mostly cuz written on the shield was many different names on his back he had a Halberd which had a curved axe blade on either side and coming up the middle of them was a sharp blade it was an interesting design the shaft was made from glass in this glass you could see a black fire in the middle of the axe heads this first made an interesting look mixed with what types of Halberd it was on his left hand was a simple black glove that had a big P on it the last piece of armor he had on was ankle braces next to him was Brother K he had on black plate armor and on his head was a knight helmet his armor wasn't fancy it just was black and when he moved it made no noise but what cot my eye was the chain mace on his hip the handle and chain was black but the head was white it didn't have any spikes on the ball it just had three blades on either side of it on his back was a wall shield it was the only thing that looked old both of there armor was battle scared I walked next to them feeling like my armor and weapons was basic which they was Triple P turned to me which was scary and said don't worry Hunter when you stay her as long as we have you will have cool shit too I nodded I turned to see Yang and White walking up to us White had on a simple white shirt over it was chainmail she ware a helmet like mine and on her left hand was her circle shield from her room and on her back was that white spear as for Yang she had on full Samari armor it was black and red in color and on her breastplate was the two ying yang fish on her left hip was two Katanas but in her right hand she held a naginata the blade was red like blood but the shaft was black and on her face was a black menpo mask it's teeth was red so all you could really see was her eyes I could tell out of the three Yang gave off the most dangerous feeling when you saw her holding that naginata the last person to jump down was Pike he had the most trouble but all he had on was a chain shirt helmet and gloves he was strapping a long sword on his hip I could tell the long sword wasn't the weapon for him but I didn't say anything triple P nodded to us all saying let's hustle to get to the training ground I nodded and disappeared and appeared outside the door I opened it to hear Pike saying that's a bull shit ability but when he realized I was standing at the door his face want white I smiled saying maybe if you stop slacking in training you could use your powers to and I disappeared again and appeared down the path but after that I ran the rest of the way but I waited for the group to catch up you don't just abandon your group even if you got the ability to triple P nodded as they cot up out of everyone Yang and surprisedly Brother K was the fastest so they could keep up with me White and triple P had good stamina but their speed was so so as for Pike he had trouble keeping up I seem many other people running out of there cabin with there armor and weapons but out of everyone are group definitely looked the most interesting from brother K plate armor to triple P helmet plus everyone weapons but I didn't focus on them I just focused on running we got to the Training ground a minute early and we were one of the first full groups to be there Gimli was standing in the middle of the training ground his hammer on his hip and his armor was a mix of chain mail and plate but it wasn't flashy or anything the only thing that was flashy on him was his hammer the head if the hammer was Gray with gold lighting bolts on it the handle was wrapped with thick leather and a silver wire over the leather that was the only flashy thing on him he looked over to us and nodded at each of us to see what weapons we simply nodded back after the last people got here Gimli smiled saying Odin, Frigg, Idun and fray cabins all of you do 5 laps around the track for not having all your members here on time your cabin is your family so that's means you should help each other and move tougher in battle the only people you can rely on is the person next to you how can you do that if you can't help your own blood as for the rest of you do one lap together as one there are no strangers remember your only as strong as your weakest link everyone yelled yes instructor and we started to run as a group many of our steps was in the sink so it sounded like we were marching with all our equipment after we did know lap we want back to Gimli wall the others did three more laps Gimli looked us over smiling ok kids in the monster pit will be Loki, Ymir, and he stared to give each cabin different locations on the training ground after he was done there was only four groups left mine Fenrir, Thor and Heimdall cabins Gimli smiled seeing are groups as for you all form two teams Fenrir and Hela cabin is one team Thor and Heimdall cabin is the other team you all will be fighting in the circle against one another one on one I looked over to the Fenrir cabin they only had 6 people like us so are total number was 12 but the other team had 20 so we was outnumbered but I didn't say anything neither did the rest of them but Pike complained saying but instructor they outnumber us how is that fare but before Gimli could respond to him White answered him Pike that is the point, not every battle is about numbers so shut up and follow the instructor's orders do you hear any of us complaining Pike looked at her about to argue but he stopped seeing all of our faces brother K had his viser up so you could see the crazy smile on his face you could not see Triple P or Yang's face but their eyes were shining from anticipation as for White she had a natural expression but her eyes were shining as for me I had a crazy grin on my face the kids in the Fenrir cabin had similar looks Pike simply shook his head let's get started I said my hands clenching my daggers some kids from the Thor cabin laughed and one of them said what is the newbie wanting to get his ass kicked shore I will play with you my eyes landed on a kid who had long blonde hair it was Braided he didn't have any hair on his face he had on a metal chest plate he had a norse helmet on his head and he was resting against a war pick his eyes was sky blue when our eyes locked he gave me a toothy smile but I could tell he was taunting me he was probably 19 I shrugged saying if that's your decision I will take you on the man nodded picking up his war pick putting it on his shoulder he stepped forward into the fighting circle I reached up and undid the two straps on my sword sheath and I stepped into the ring White wanted to stop me but Yang stopped her White turned to her saying Yang y are you stopping me there's no way Hunter can Take Rick but the one who spoke was Triple P he simply said watch him White was surprised and Yang let go of her Pike sat on the ground ready to watch me get my ass kicked or so he thought the man Rick smiled at me stepping into the ring good you got guts kid to bad that's all you got and when he said that his war pick sparked with lightning I smiled evilly asking so we can us are powers in these fights Gimli nodded saying yes you can this is a fight I want all of you to fight like your life is on the line so that naturally means us all you got I nodded and turned back to Rick who was smiling at me I simply told him to bring it on that smile faded off his face and anger replaced it he charged at me swinging his pick down and it feel like lightning kicking up dust so no one could see if I was hit or not White crossed her fingers but Yang, triple P and Brother K didn't look worried at all and when the dust settled people gasped from shock I was behind Rick one of my daggers prest against his throat Brother K and triple P started to chuckle seeing the ruthlessness in my eyes White side from relief as for Pike he simple had a boring look and wall my back was turn everyone could see my shield and the image on it do you surrender I ask Rick he started to shake feeling the cold steal on his throat yes I surrender he said dropping his hammer good I said taking my dagger off his throat and back in it's sheath I walked back to my siblings Brother K and triple P patted my shoulder Yang simple nodded White gave me a shocked look and Pike simply ignored us next Brother P walked into the circle stabbing his halberd off his back and into the ground and in a cold commanding voice he said who has the balls to fight me no one walked into the ring they all looked scared after a few minutes Gimli side saying Faded you fight him and slowly stepping into the circle was a girl from the Heimdall cabin she was 20 she held an axe in one hand and a shield in the other as for armor it was leather except for her helmet it was metal when she got in a ready stance I could see her hands shaking when she looked at Triple P he pulled his halberd out of the ground and for into a ready stance to his buckler shield and his armored arm was our ready to block anything and he rested his halberd on the shield ready to stab out I could tell he has been using that halberd for a long time Faded didn't move she just stared at him fear in her eyes but P was tired of waiting so he took a few steps fowered and when he got in range he swung his halberd at her which Faded blocked but like a crazy pull P didn't stop swinging or stabbing to the point Faded couldn't even attack she was left on the defensive which is never a good thing, Brother K put a hand on my shoulder and he whispered something in my ear I simply nodded at him like I understand he pat my shoulder a few times and looked back to the fight P swung his Halberd like an axe it sank into Fadeds metal shield and with that P jerked the shield out of her hand as he did he kicked her in the chest making her fall to the ground she was scared shitless P moved his halberd to the ground and he stomped onto the shield pulling his halberd free after that he looked up to Faded and when his eyes feel onto her Faded froze up slowly P walked next to her his shadow covered her blocking the sun I clenched my shield strap he glared at faded who could no nothing but stare and shake P razed his halberd and was about to bring it down Brother K yelled Hunter I disappeared and reappeared standing over the girl holding my Shield in my hand I razed it ready to for an attack but no attack came then I heard laughter I peaked over my shield to see triple P laughing his halberd stabbed into the ground next to him I slowly lowered my shield Triple P looked at me still chuckling Hunter how in the hell can you stand with those big balls of yours I chuckled shaking my head saying you bastards you planned this I glared over to Brother K who was chuckling to Triple P smiled evilly I rolled my eyes and disappeared closer to him and I shield bashed him as I did I disappear again and reappearing behind brother K and I slammed into him pushing him making him face plant Yang, Pike and White chuckled seeing them finally get some punishment triple P was holding his stomach still smiling and Brother K chuckled getting up the rest of the afternoon passed like that I got to fight 5 other people win them all but I definitely had to work for it Brother K and Yang fought against 4 each they didn't lose either as for triple P he didn't fight again White fought against 2 others she two wins as for the Fenrir cabin they to fought in-between are fights some of them lost some win as for Pike he fought three rounds and he lost every one does to him using the long sword he fought sloppily and reckless plus the swird was too big for him I tried to tell him that but all he had to say about that was shut up Hunter you don't know what you're talking about and when I insisted he got angry with me saying shut up you bastard just cuz you can win more than me doesn't mean your better then me the only reason y you won was cuz of that stupid teleport ability I glared at him and appeared behind him and said this is part of my weapon you have your abilities same as me but I you never used yours wall you was getting your ass tell me do you think the real world is that forgive he turned and tried to punch me but I cot his fist pushing him away but I didn't stop no the in the real word your blunder would not only get yourself killed but anyone who travels with you Pike yelled shut up and he pulled out his long sword and charged at me I side pulling my sickle sword off my back Pike swung down at me I blocked his sword with mine and as I did I twisted my sword to wrap under his blade when I did that I jerked my sword to the side as I did his sword was ripped out of his hands it landed on the sand spinning after that I swung my sword stopping it at his throat Pike was shocked and know scared shitless staring into my cold eyes kid I don't care what dream you think this is nore do I care but this is the real world there is no such thing as honor there's only survival or die the sooner you realize that the sooner you will learn how to survive and get stronger there is a storm coming and the world as we know it will be affected so I lowered my sword putting it back onto my back what will you do Pike son of Hela will you stay like this weak or will you live up to your potential think about it after that I walked away to Brother K and triple P who was waiting for me to start are training again and like that four months passed like a flash I kept training and growing stronger after the first month I learned how to make and central fire and how to summon undead after that i started to read about my hela powers and after two months I could control and make ice and like what Yang did to that man I learned how to us the deaths touch I also learned necromancy but from here on out I had to develop my powers without the help of books my shadow walk has gotten stronger to I can bring another person with me and my range has massively increased as for my valuables detector has also gotten stronger the range of the detection is about the size of a football field it has come in quite handy when I had to go mining for Icarus who has taught me a lot and after the second month with help from him and the book I found he let me have my own forge and start making things let's just say I was excited and with that, I started making weapons every day I got better and better I also made ammo for my Colt single action I also modified the navy colt so it could shoot bullets and not balls but unlike the colt single action the navy colt had more power to them and it was a bigger round he first thing I made for myself was a black trench coat and custom armor a chest plate armored gloves and ankle guards plus I made a basic bag of space it only had the space of a chest through unlike Brother K bag Layle and I didn't stop meeting up at night to train we grow closer and closer to the point I asked her to date me last month lets just say I fried her brain again as for Pike he took my words to heart and asked me to forge him two hand axes which I gave to him and he loved them and he used them well my training with brother K and Triple P didn't stop after the first month we switched up weapons from sword to spears triple P trained me then and at a rapid speed I developed my own type of fighting style and when people wasn't looking for me I practiced my shooting in the north east woods so no one could hear the gun shots I practiced at first with shooting a circle target after I got good with that I got smaller and smaller and then after that I used old cups and tied a string on them so I had to hit wall it was moving I even started practicing shooting wall I am moving the last thing I trained was my drall I started out slowly but I got faster and faster it was the third day of December and there was already snow on the ground I just got done with smithing I was walking to breakfast when a voice came from behind me they said Hunter Necro is that you I jumped pulling a dagger out and turning around fast but what I seem shocked me it was a blonde man with a toothy white smile but he had on a gold tux in this weather and his shoes had wings on them I slowly put my dagger way asking Hermes the man laugh saying the one and the same tell me, Hunter, what gave it away was it my good looks I simple pointed to the shoes and the hair saying I had a dream where you took my parent's side and you want against your father for me so thank you I gave a bow Hermes chuckled saying Hunter don't bow to me we are family speaking of that I am here to give you something from your father I blinked and a box was in his hands he held it out to me it was long but not too big thank you and I will need you to sine here here and here and I blinked again and he was holding a tablet and pin I took the pin and was about to sine where he said but I felt something move in my fingers I looked at the pin and what was looking back at me was a snakes head I dropped it from shock it sank into the snow and I heard a angry scratchy voice hi you little shit how dare you drop me into snow you bastard don't you know snakes are cold-blooded but before I could retort a female scratchy voice said stop complaining maybe if you didn't try and scare the pore dear you wouldn't have ended up in the snow I chuckle picking up the pin who wiggled between my fingers I signed where he asked me saying quite the noisy pin you got here maybe if you drop him in some ice water it might help straighten it put Hermes laughed good idea as he took the pin I heard the male snakes voice again you wouldn't dare but Hermes simple winked at me good day Hunter hopefully you can us her better then Hades does and remember not to go to fast and with that I blinked and he was gone but I felt a wind shoot past me damn he is fast I said holding the box I shrugged and want to breakfast.
