Two days later
Third person POV
Sleeping peacefully in his bed, was Ludwick who was cradling his pillow to his chest. The sun was beaming through his blinds causing him to stir. Usually, waking up was a simple task for him; he was a morning person after all. he groaned when the first beam of sunlight hit his face.
He picked up his phone from the night stand to check the time. "Ugh, why is it so early?"He asked himself placing the phone back on the nightstand, he slowly sat up. He put his hand on his hand that was throbbing like hell."God I hate headaches."He said, crawling out of his warm bed, he walked to the bathroom, and he took out two pills to take, pouring tap water into his rinse cup, once he took the medicine he walked into the shower and he took a warm shower.
After taking a shower he went out of the room and he went to the kitchen where he surprisingly found his mother making breakfast."Mom what are you doing here?"He asked. "I thought that I made it clear that non of you are allowed to come here."He said raising his voice a bit.
"Hey don't raise your voice at me I am your mother you know." She said. "Anyway I made breakfast, come and it."She said putting a plate that had a slice of apple cake and waffles with toppings and a glass of juice.Ludwick looked at her and then the food, his mother noticed that he was not planning on touching that food that she had made. "OH come on Ludwick, eat it, there's no poison in it."She said.
"Fine I'll eat it but only because I don't want to waste any food."He said seating down and eating the breakfast.
"Are you going to come to Eleanor's birthday party?"She asked.
"Yes I wouldn't miss it for the world."He said.
"And what about your birthday, where do you plan on celebrating it, since it's in five weeks, I was hoping for your birthday party to be held at the family mansion."She said smiling at him. Ludwick rolled his eyes at her, she knew right there that the answer was a big fat no.
"Where or how I celebrate my birthday has nothing to do with you all, I am only putting up with all this nonsense because I care about Eleanor's feelings, if it weren't for that then you wouldn't even know where I live."He said.
"Ludwick we are still your family, I know that we all have our differences but you can't turn your back on us, we made you the man that you are today!"She shouted slamming her hand on the kitchen counter.
"You see that's the problem, you guys think that you made me but that is not true, I made myself, if it weren't for you guys I would have made it further than I have now! And if it weren't for you guts she would be still alive today, and it's all your fault. Everything is your fault!"He shouted and then he stood up from the chair.
"Ludwick, how dare you?!"She asked but Ludwick didn't even dare to listen, he walked away from her and he went back to his room. This is how their conversation always ended, it would either be him storming off or her. They never had a good relationship and Ludwick didn't want them to have a good relationship either, he just hated everything about his family. The only person that mattered to him was Eleanor, she was the one that made him want to wake up everyday, her smile, her hugs and her personality made him smile everyday and he was not going to let anyone ruin that for him.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Flora woke up from her afternoon nap, she picked up her phone from the nightstand to check the time and she realised that it was 4:30pm and that there was only three hours left until the party began, she crawled out of her bed and she then made his way to the bathroom and then she took a shower so that she could get ready for the party.
After taking a shower she wore the dress and a matching piece of jewelry that Ludwick had bought for her a few days ago. After she was done getting dressed she looked at herself in the mirror, the outfit looked better on her than she thought it would. The dresse hugged her body tightly in the right places, her cleavage was visible and the makeup that she had applied made her look even better. Her hair was tied into a tight ponytail and it was curled at the ends of her hair.
She took her phone and her purse abd then she walked out of the room and she went into the living room to wait for the driver, Ludwick had told her that one of his drivers was going to pick her up because it would raise a lot of questions if they were to attend the party together.
After a while the driver arrived with the car abd she made her way outside of the house abd she got into the car abd then the driver drove off. Flora could feel herself getting nervous, she took deep breaths to try and calm herself down but it only worked for a few seconds. "It's okay you can do it."She said to herself. She knew what was on the line so she had to make sure that she dud mess anything, because a small mistake could cause a big problem.
Her phone rang, she looked at the caller ID and she noticed that it was Ludwick, she answered the phone. "Hello?"She said.
"Hello, are you ready?"He asked.
"Well I am ready but I am a bit nervous right now, is there something you would like to tell me that could make me feel better?"She asked.
"Well I am not good at making people feel better, but just remember one thing, don't mess up."He said, Flora had heard those words a million times she was really tired of it but who was she to tell that to Ludwick.
"Alright, I won't mess up."She said.
"Okay then I'll see you at the party, I hope that you didn't forget to bring your invitation card with you, you won't be allowed to enter if you don't have it, remember if anyone asks you where you got it just tell them that you got it from Louis."He said. He didn't want Adolf to know that he knew her because if he did then he wouldn't want to even get closer to her.
"Yes of course I have it, bye."She said and then he hung up the call. Flora took a deep breath for one last time, she had to calm down because she to do her best, messing up was not an option.
