Jess committed in working as an assistant hostess in Kyle motel, because she has no idea when she will be going home as long as CCR is concern she be on the run as long as it takes and it breaks her heart as she misses her family back home, she wished she hadn't stolen the credit card because she misses her family the phone talks were now boring because is the same thing.
She became an asset to the motel, her ideas were brilliant and when ever it comes to filing, bookings, responding to emails Jess was fast and smart about it, it usually take the hostess days to finished but with Jess few hours.
Kyle loved her work ethics they were easy and understandably, she promoted Jess into her own personal office, she has her own computer, desk. Etc.

After a month in Mombasa Jessica continue praying about going home, is not like she was maltreated or didn't have chance to do what she likes.
She wanted to go back to school and schooling here wasn't her plans at all they had great schools but her family meant a lot to her maybe in her twenty's she can travel around the world not now is too much distraction here, from the work life, and how money is coming in school is not an option like mary use to say.
although mary keeps in touch with feedbacks regarding their mom.
She knows better even if Kyle doesn't ask her personal questions she was kind and very quiet like her too at least they share that in common. She educated herself on books from the local library five blocks away which she saw after Kyle took her to show where the motel is located not too far from home and too close to the library.
Times she wasn't reading Jess occupied herself with assisting Kyle in her motel.
The bartenders always take the trash out when the day is over or let say in the night before he switches of the light.
The motel was small establishments with thirty two rooms, it was one of Jess spectacular outings, private, flower vases, old fashioned, not too much of a night life. It was quiet most of the time people who couldn't afford five stars hotels stays over for the night.
already pass two AM in the morning only music coming from the stereo blaring in background gave it a little life. The bartender came back to inform her that Kyle want to see her, She nodded her head first off all shutting down the computer before leaving.
Kyle head stuck on the paper work she was doing with her apple laptop still on, she glanced at her for a while before she noticed her standing at the doorway.
"Well! come in Jessica don't just stand there" Kyle muttered acrossed the table.
Jess hastily take a seat without uttering a word.
"This for you Jess" Kyle thrust an envelope to jess curiously get rid of the glue on the edge of the brown sheet in it cribs of money.
"What for?" She asked slowly shutting the envelope together.
"Your service at the motel-
"You don't have to do this Kyle I live with you under your expense it will be very unkind for me to take this money pls I cannot" Kyle exhale sharply taking off her gaze upon her rather to her computer.
