TWO DAYS LATER (ling's high school)
It was almost time for meeting in the halls and Dela was getting ready. Lily has thought him how to conceal his hair color in the meantime but he hasn't learned how to conceal his eyes yet.
He stood up from his desk and searched for king but couldn't find him. Since that incident happened, he has been avoiding him. he sighed.
"It's my fault anyway". He muttered to himself and headed to the meeting hall.
He came across Luca and his minions in the way.
"Hi, Dela". Luca said smiling at him in a friendly way.
Dela was shocked, he turned to see if there was another person called Dela behind him because he was fully sure it wasn't him Luca was smiling at.
"Oh stop that! Is you I'm talking to". Luca said.
"Me? I'm just shocked ". Dela said.
He couldn't guess why Luca was suddenly being nice to him. After what happened between them, a normal human being will not even look at him twice when he set his eyes on him. But it seems like it was different there.
"Don't be surprised I just wanted to apologize for what happened between us the other day. I am the one at fault. Please forgive me". Luca said holding his ears.
Dela was dumbstruck. "Why are you suddenly apologizing to me? Or do you perhaps want something from me?". Dela asked.
Luca chuckled. "Not at all! I just sat down and reasoned everything, then I realized I was the one at fault, that is why I have come for your forgiveness". Luca pleaded.
"Oh, I have forgiven you long time ". Dela said and wanted to go but he stopped him again.
"Oh please don't go yet, can we be friends". Luca asked.
Dela looked at the two boys beside him.
"No, we can't be friends ". He said and walked away.
Luca stomped on his feet angrily.
"Who the hell is he?..hmph!". He snapped and they walked away.
Dela was almost at the assembly hall when he saw Lily coming to him. He looked inside and saw that the students had already gathered, waiting for the principal but he wanted to say hi, to Lily first.
He smiled while Lily approached him.
" Hi". He said and was about to shake her hands when another hand came out of nowhere and took his hands. He looked up and behold the girl in Infront of him was a perfect idol.
He smirked and adore her with a smile. It was like he was finding her attractive and Lily frowned.
Hosea smirked too.
" Hi, Good morning". Hosea said.
And Dela smiled.
" Morning". She then turned to Lily and greeted her.
" Hi girl". She waved at Lily and withdrew her hands from Dela's hand.
" Yh..". Lily said while she was admiring how beautiful she was too.
Indeed she was beautiful. Dela stared at her for a while before speaking.
"Sorry, I didn't mention my name, I'm Dela ". He said with a smile.
"Nice meeting you". She said.
" Came we go now?". Lily asked, obviously irritated at the way Dela smiled at that new random girl. Where the hell did she come from anyway?
" Calm down girl, let's go Dela". She smiled and he followed her, forgetting about Lily completely.
Lily blinked twice, what just happened? Has this new girl charmed him or what? What sort of spell has she used on him to make him obey her like that? She gasped.
And what if she is after him like how everyone is sought after him?
" No!". Lily said and followed them immediately.
Hosea entered the hall with Dela, a boy screamed when he saw her, interrupting the whole session. He pointed at Hosea and fainted. Everyone including Mr. Ling looks in Hosea's direction and was dumbstruck. The hall turned into a fashion studio with shrieks and murmuring. Mr Ling stretched to see who it was but couldn't see since the majority of the student were already standing on their feet.
" She is an angel"
" Wow what a beauty".
" She is the complete definition of PERFECT."
" Did she accidentally fall from the sky"?
" I think God wants to bless us boys in this school by sending such a beauty to us".
" Oh my God, she is super, duper, cute!".
" Look at those eyes, and her hair. Someone should fan me for I think I'm gonna to pass out".
What was the meaning of all that? She was the only one who get screamed by the boys, but now this psycho.. just burst out of nowhere and is taking her glory.
The principal and his sub-teachers managed to calm the student down, especially the boys. They had to dismiss them early so they could go to the class, but they were wrong. It even allowed them to surround Hosea with her in the middle. They pushed Dela to the side and Lily held him while Hosea used her eyes to searched for him. She wasn't going to let him out of her sight.
" Excuse me, I will like to go". She said, but they weren't ready to listen. She facepalmed.
"Jeez! Are humans like this? Do they just go crazy over a good-looking girl? How she wished she was in her kingdom, she would have just teleported out of their midsts like how she always does whenever the guys there try to touch her.
"Why have they surrounded her like that? Is not like they haven't seen a beautiful girl before?". Dela hissed.
"You acted like them just a minute ago remember?". Lily said and he bite his lips.
"But I didn't try touching her and making body contact with her. These boys are only trying to be bitchs". Dela said.
"Are you getting a hint of jealousy? ". Lily asked surprisingly. This is absurd! How can he get jealous of a girl he just met? Seriously.
"I'm not jealous . I'm only saying what I think ". He said and started walking away while Lily followed him.
Hosea saw him walking away with Lily and she cursed under her breath. "Okay everyone gets lost on me!". She snapped and they halted. "I need to go, okay? We can have fun later not now". She smiled at them and hurried out before they could try to stop her again. After she left them, they started murmuring again.
"Oh my goodness she smiled at me".
"You are lying, she smiled at me rather".
"Her phone number!!". Someone shouted from behind.
"Ooh..yh..yh we forgot to take her number".
Dela was about to enter his class when Lily stopped him.
"You know this isn't my class right ". She asked.
"Oh". He said nervously. "I'm sorry I forget ". He said.
"No worries, we will get to train after lunch ". She said.
"Yes since we have free time ". He said.
"Okay take care ". Lily smiled and left.
He entered the class and king was still not on his seat. "Isn't he in school? I hope he is alright". He muttered to himself as he sat down. he ignored the stares the student were giving him and took his Science textbook to solve something. Science was the only subject he was finding a bit difficult. If Layla was there, she will have thought him all the topics he don't understand.
He bit the pen as he scribbled some things down. he didn't even understand what he was writing. all he knew was that he was learning ..in his mind.
"It's wrong"
He heard that sexy voice again and turned to look at her.
"Hi, Hosea". He waved.
"Hey! Solving science equation...cool". She said and sit beside him and he stiffened. She noticed it and faced him. "What happened?". She asked.
" I'm just not used to sitting with..." He wanted to say girl but decided to say
"Anyone". He said while using his eyes to show her that his classmates may suspect something wrong. For they had already started glaring and staring at them.
Hosea laughed. " Let them suspect whatever they want to, I only came to say hi..and oh you are even finding it hard to solve your work so let me help you". She said and picked up his pen. Within two to three minutes she was done solving all five questions.
Dela opened his textbook and compared them and it was correct!
" Wow, you are a genius!". he said without knowing that the boys were watching them harder.
" Out of all the handsome and the most handsome guys in this school, she chose this weirdo guy". A boy muttered to himself.
Hosea heard it and frowned but smile afterward when she saw Dela looking up at her. The boy who insulted Dela picked up a bottle of water and drank. Hosea make the water choke him for real and he coughed strongly. She smiled to himself and faced Dela who wasn't aware of what just happened.
"Can, you teach me please?". Dela said, then he remembered what Lily told him. She told him not to trust anyone, especially those with supernatural powers who are claiming to be his friends. But this time, Aunt Maggie has also told him that someone will be meeting him today and she will be friend with him. Coming to think of it, will it be Hosea?
"You look confused". She said and he cleared his throat.
"Yeah, I mean never mind. About the teaching I will confirm something and get back to you tomorrow ". He said.
"Okay". She nodded.
"Um..is this the class they gave you? He asked.
"No, I came on my own". He answered.
(She is a kind of naive, I guess.. how can you come to school and not meet the principal?) Dela thought and smiled to himself.
"You mean you didn't go to the principal office to confirm your admission?" He asked and she shook her head.
"Okay.. anyway stand up, you need to go so that you will know where you belong. You don't wanna miss any class tests, do you? He asked with a smile.
"Yeah, but I don't know where his office is located". She said.
"Let go I will take you there ". He said.
She stood up and followed him till they got there.
"Here it is", he said and pointed to the door.
"Just go in and answer his questions, okay, then you logged into the school platform and you will find your class, bye ..all the best". He said headed back to his class.
(My prince is a sweet little boy. No wonder he easily gets tricked, but not to worry, I'm here to make sure that doesn't happen ever again. I wish you will comply with me if you come to know who I am actually). She said and knocked on the door, without waiting for anyone to answer. She walked over to Mr. Ling's table and met Lily there. She helped her with a seat and faced them.
Mr. Ling recognized who she was immediately. He was an ancient Vampire who had lived for thousands of years, he knows almost everyone in the supernatural realm, including Hosea and her father. He knew that Hosea being there was bad news for them.
He hid his anxiety behind a stern face and asked. "Hosea, what are you doing here".
Hosea's once smiling face turned serious.
"Isn't it obvious? I'm here to stop you". Hosea said.
Lily and her father exchanged glances.
" Stop me from doing what?". He asked.
" You're well aware of what I'm talking about, Ling". Hosea smirked.
" Hey! You don't call me by my name, I am your principal and should be accorded due respect ". Mr.Ling snapped.
" Respect you say? You call yourself a principal but you aren't acting like one. You are only acting as the villain you are". She said and Lily gasped.
" Hey, how dare you, do you know it's my dad you are talking to like that? ". Lily asked, he was annoyed.
" Haha.. have you asked your dad what he wants Dela's powers for or why he wants his powers so bad?". Hosea asked and Lily looked at her father.
" What are you talking about?". Mr. Ling said, avoiding Lily's gaze.
" Anyway, before I forget, I remember I came to do what other human beings do when they get admitted. My locker key and class card please,?"
"..I don't wanna log into any nonsense ". Hosea requested, ignoring his question.
Mr. Ling sighed and gave her what she wanted. Hosea looked at the class card that was given to her and she discovered that it was CLASS B. She knew that Dela was in CLASS A. If they were in different classes, how can she protect her prince?
" I can't stay in class B". She said.
"Why?". Mr. Ling asked.
" Because I don't want to. Change it please ". She requested again.
" I am not changing anything. Go to the class that I have assigned to you!." Mr. Ling said almost exclaiming.
" Alright, but I just wanna make you remember if you have forgotten who I am right now . I'm the type of person who doesn't batter words . I don't talk, I just do". She smirked and a card with CLASS A written on it flew out of Mr. Ling's locker and she grabbed it.
" You!!". Mr. Ling screamed.
" Thanks". She smiled and left.
Mr. Ling hit the desk angrily. "She is as annoying as her father!".
"Dad how can you two know each other? I haven't seen her before?". Lily asked.
"Her father is the king of the water kingdom". Her father said.
"You mean that she is king Harven's daughter?" Lily asked out of shock.
"Yes, king Harven's last daughter and they are the most annoying people ever . I hate her! You must get rid of that creature, Lily ". Mr. Ling said.
Lily's eyes widened. "What! Dad! How can you say such a thing like that? Please don't say that again, It's absurd!" Lily snapped.
"Shut it, Lily!, I'm very serious about her. If that brat is here, we won't be able to carry out our plans on that boy. She is from a family of guardians, and there is no doubt that she was sent to protect him!". He said in one breath.
"But dad, I don't wanna kill anyone ". Lily plead.
"Don't tell me you are afraid of her or you just care about her now. You are part of the Burning fire clan, no Vampire is as strong as you are. She is just a guardian, killing her should be a piece of cake for you". He said.
"But, I still don't understand. What do you need Dela for? Or it has something to do with the kingdom of pure magic..I mean the THRONE?". She said.
Mr. Ling paused for a while. "Yes, my daughter it has something to do with the kingdom of pure magic as well as the THRONE. look here my daughter, you don't know the kind of powers that boy possesses as the heir of the kingdom. If we take that power from him, we will be unstoppable everywhere and the THRONE will be ours! .. Her father said and laughed.
" Dad!, taking his powers is synonymous with killing him". Lily said.
" No, he won't die".
" Dad, I'm not the kid that you can lie to anymore. And I'm not new to my supernaturals and their powers, not at all. Taking the powers of a supernatural being means, killing them!". Lily exclaimed.
" Shut up over there! what is wrong if he die? then we have gotten the powers which all demons and dark forces are looking for. Then he has nothing to live for!".
"Why are you sounding like it means nothing ?"
Lily asked while tears started gathering under her eyes.
" Because it means nothing". Mr. Ling said and laughed. " Now prepare yourself so that you can get rid of that brat".
" Dad, I can see you still don't know the secret behind his powers, his powers don't come from him. So that means you can't kill him unless that person is dead..and for the person, we don't know". She said then stood up and left his office.
" I don't care, I must have his powers at all costs . He is the ticket I have to get in other to acquire unquestionably power and nothing will stop that, not even his damm father! ". He muttered and smirked.
Hosea returned to the class and went to sit beside Dela again.
" I got a key to my locker and I'm in this class". She said hanging her key in the air for Dela to see.
Dela looked at her hands, he felt relieved that she was in his class. He scolded himself for that. What if she is a devil and she is only trying to trick him? He wasn't going to fall for that.
" Okay then please get a seat for yourself, for this seat belongs to a friend, king. It's empty because he isn't in school today". Dela said.
" Why? can't I be a substitute for him today?". She asked. He wanted to say yes, but remember what Lily told him.
" No, you don't have to". He said.
" So you don't want me to act as a substitute for your friend today?" She asked and bit her lips.
Dela looked at her for a while, was she trying to seduce him or what? " Alright, you can be his substitute for today". He said and smiled.
The boys in the class stared at Dela with both jealousy and hatred. They don't understand why cute girls would pass by them and go for a strange boy. No one understands. It was first Lily and now this breathtaking girl. They suspected that he must have used something to attract them.
