Kakuriyo was a different world altogether. It had its own sky where different kinds of ayakashis could fly freely. It also had sea and ocean of its own. Ginji had lot of things going on in his mind, but he could do nothing. As he was contemplating the scenario in his mind, he felt something heavy in his hand. He finally realized that he was a captive of this world. He looked at Raiju fiercely and asked, "why have you shackled me? What crime have I committed?". "Stupid fox did you really think that we would welcome a traitor like you?", snarled Raiju. Hearing words full of scorn made Ginji speechless. He knew that he would not be treated well but he had never imagined that he would be held as a captive. With a smirk on his face Ginji asked, "For whom are you holding me a captive? And what benefit will you get. As you can see the humans don't like me and the goddess is nowhere to be found". "You must have underestimated yourself. You still have your loyal brother Shiroi who has gone to bring back the priest's soul", said Raiju with contempt. Ginji's eyes widened with fear, he said "I know you have personal grudge against him but that was about hundreds of years ago. You should just forget about it and make peace with your past". Upon hearing this the Raiju lashed out. One strike was enough to make Ginji vomit blood. He said, "that day if he had not intervened and betrayed us, we would not have lost and become a slave of a mere goddess". Defending Shiroi, Ginji said, "don't you want to know why he did it?". "Shut up and sit here obediently. Pray to the goddess that he comes to save you otherwise the people whom you all have protected for so long will have to suffer my wrath", said Raiju.
Years of hatred had turned him into a demon. Ginji and Raiju grew up together. They had vowed their loyalty to each other and were sworn brothers. During the collision between the humans and the ayakashis, they had fought side by side but with different intentions.
