I wore the complete set of elven armor the Thalmor soldiers wear. Sure enough if I tilt my head down in a scowl I could pretend to be a Thalmor soldier myself. Though my beard interfered slightly. Anccelmo had a beard, but it was trimmed. So with a little work I cleaned up my beard.
Now however I was back in the tunnel. Someone had replaced the lights. However it seems everything was normal. I kept my head low and with a strict, but comfortable march. Canary had given me advise on the exact march the Thalmor used.
I watched as the espionage skill tree increase. That meant the disguise was working. I wondered about other secret skill trees. That wasn't a question I asked grey-prince, and the first player I killed likely had less information. I needed a guaranteed friendly player. I paused as a couple of Thalmor walked out of the jail house.
They noticed me, "Oh? Coming back from guard duty? Did Grand Wizard Anccelmo leave today?"
I choked and coughed slightly I made my voice raspy and distorted. "Not that I know of. I only saw the shift change. With this sore throat I know I need a slight break."
One of the soldiers slapped my back. "Just remember its only a 4 hour break. You still need to head down to the factory."
I nodded and they walked past and down the hall. Speechcraft and espionage both leveled up. My speechcraft was almost level 100. I wondered what would happen at that point? Currently it was above 100 thanks to bonuses, but I couldn't help wondering what the change to the system may be.
I breathed out, my mind was straying from nervousness. I looked down the jail area and from memory I noticed at least two prisoner's missing. Perhaps they were sent to this factory? I moved to the next hallway and found it led into a small room with a couple of beds. The two guards that just spoke to me were now sitting down inside.
I moved forward keeping my head down as I slowly check the rooms. Most were normal some had what looked to be experiments going on. I counted nearly a dozen enchanting and alchemy tables in the rooms. Eventually the hall was getting hotter and I found that the area was void of soldiers. I peaked into the rooms here and found they were personal rooms for high ranking individuals. I didn't have lockpicks or a handy interface for lockpicking. So I missed a couple of rooms. However eventually I arrived at a room glowing with red light.
My eyes darted around at the few wizards hanging around. However not one noticed me due to how focused they were on their work. In the center of the room was a dragon corpse. The dragon was clearly dead, but flesh and muscle still existed on some parts of the corpse.
I complied everything I saw in the room as I slowly walked forward to the thick gemstone in the back of the room. The thing producing the red light. This crystal, I knew what it was. How could I not? It was a very large version of the red crystals that are housed inside Centurion Dynamo Core.
Those crystals had no name, nor did I know what they truly were. However one this big? I looked to a different side of the... this factory. This was the factory... and they had a copy of Alduin's wall. I knew what they were doing or at least parts of it. I stayed frozen until a wizard in golden robes pointed to me, "You go get another prisoner!"
I nodded and left the factory. I had a bad feeling, a real bad feeling. I followed along though, I needed to confirm where these feelings were coming from. I grabbed a stormcloak soldier and dragged him toward the factory.
The wizard smiled, "Perfect! You brought me a stormcloak too! I like watching the resilience disappear in their eyes."
He grabbed the soldier from me and stormcloak struggled against his restraints. He was brought forward to the red crystal. The wizard pointed, "Activate the glyphs." The floor lit up and daedric symbols began glowing across the ground. I hadn't even realized they were there.
The wizard shook his head, "With Anccelmo hiding in his room we must work alone. Slice his throat and make him kneel before the heart."
I nodded and sliced his throat and forced him to his knees. His blood dripped down and red chains began to form around his neck holding him down. I couldn't help watch the scene as the wizard raised his arms. He began speaking some other language. However My eyes couldn't help be locked onto the stormcloak.
His blood rushed out of his body and purple light poured from his eyes and the cut across his throat. It all poured into the crystal the wizard called the heart. The body went limp and dropped the the ground. Despite blood being drained from the solider he was still pink and fleshy.
The wizard pointed to me, "Take him away to the sending room."
I made a split decision. "Anccelmo had the key."
The wizard clicked his tongue, "Of course he did." The wizard pulled out a key and threw it to me. "Use mine and hurry up."
He paused, for a second, "Did you always have a beard?"
I froze and nodded, "Do you like it?"
The wizard scoffed, "You shouldn't dye it black. However it does look good. Now hurry along, we will need more sacrifices to fill the heart."
I nodded and dragged the body with me. Blood still dripped from the cut across the stormcloaks throat. Something specific was taken, not just any type of blood. I came to the lock doors and slowly checked them all with he key I was given. Sure enough I found one that opened with it.
Inside was something that resembled the atronach forge. It lacked the unique look and offering box. However a sigil stone laid upon a pedestal while several bodies were scattered around the circular stage.
They teleported the corpses out of the dungeon. or teleport supplies and prisoners in. I looked at the pedestal where a black stone tablet sat. It had coordinates on it, I added them to my map quickly. However it seems the current coordinates were random. A random location to dump the bodies. I clicked my tongue and looked backwards to the factory.
I knew what the bad feeling was... I had to talk to Canary, quickly. I left the corpse on the stage and moved quickly to the ladder going back up.
