I held the hearth in my hands. Viree looked at it and asked. "That's the artifact?"
I nodded, "To explain simply, it is the corpse of a living storm."
Sorex asked, "How are you holding it."
My frost resistance had long since ended. Truth be told I was now holding it because of one of the effects I got earlier. I had gotten three earlier as well as two achievements. The Achievement Eye of a dead storm gave me the effect Frozen Death. It gave me an additional 50% frost resistance, 100% poison and disease resistance, and Critical death immunity.
I didn't know I needed something so much. basically I was now immune to frost, poison, diseases and if I received a critical hit on my vitals I wouldn't just die from it. It would still hurt and I could die if my health dropped to 0. It was just now I was immune to the exact method of killing I had been using.
I looked back up at Sorex, "I'm an Atmoran. Just in my nature technically."
Viree asked, "You feel any different?"
I pointed, "Nope, more importantly! I can unfreeze the dome surrounding the ship."
They both paused, "For real?"
I smirked, "So, who wants a pirate ship?"
Sorex laughed, "Let's take the whole damn ship with us then!"
I gripped the hearth and controlled the ice. It melted away and the sun slowly shined down onto the deck again. Viree gasped, "Woah."
Sorex interrupted us, "New question. Either of you know how to steer a ship like this?"
I pointed, "No."
Viree shook her head. "Not like it matters we still need to grab our stuff from the boat we came here on, or did you forget you rented that."
We scrambled off the ship. Viree barely had time to catch up. "What are you two doing?"
I yelled, "Grabbing the boat and bring it aboard."
Sorex was already throwing our camp onto the rented row boat. I grabbed the back of it and when he finished collecting the camp he grabbed the front. Marching the back to the pirate ship I asked, "We need to name it."
Sorex nodded, "I think we have to ask my father first. If he was on the crew before he came to Solitude, it must have a name already."
Viree asked, "What are you even gonna do with this ship?"
I paused, "Well... It is technically Sorex's ship. Since his father is the one who provided the quest. Besides I got the Hearth."
Sorex laughed, "Well, I think we cam come to an agreement on use for the ship."
I smirked, "You gonna business man me?"
We dropped the rented row boat onto the deck. I paused, "Wait we should change those flags. We don't want to be attacked when we sail into Solitude."
Sorex nodded, "Heh, I'll handle that. You figure out how to steer this thing."
I rubbed my hands, Viree looked at me confused. "Why are you so excited?"
I looked at her, "Do you really not know? Viree, it's a free ship! A ship the size of a warship. Not only is this incredibly profitable, but it is just fun."
She sighed, "What do you even plan on using it for."
I gave a shrug, "About 4 things off the top of my head. Eventually I will need to go back to Atmora. So having access to a ship like this? It is incredibly useful. Second is trading, War is profitable and how much money do you think could be made with a ship this big during a war? Just the transportation of goods will provide tens of thousands of septims. Third, I don't actually have a home right now. So as long as it is docked, I can live on the ship. 4th? Well I can shove that stupid tree on this ship."
Viree looked at me, "Yeah, I've been meaning to ask. Where's Atmora? Also what Tree?"
I paused, I had forgot Viree was on the more uneducated side. She said she couldn't read or write, so it wasn't far off to believe she also didn't have nordic history lessons. She was a breton, so why would she even receive nordic history lessons.
I decided on a brief explanation, "Atmora is an ancient continent for the Nords. It is considered one of the many lost continents. It is far north past another continent called Rosecrea. Which ironically even less is known about.... Anyway the tree I am referring to is called Odine, it is a magic tree. It is specifically a Hist, but I assume you don't have the history lesson on those either."
She stared at me, "Yeah.... I'll just..."
She left me at the steering wheel. I stared at her as she left. Despite her lacking of education. She certainly made up for it in other ways. I snapped back to the matter at hand. I rubbed my hands together. Time to figure out how to steer this thing. I would need to figure it out before we lift the anchor.
