We all gathered at the Winking Skeever. Sorex called out, "Father can i get a round for the table!"
Corpulus walked over and smiled at his son, "I see your back, was that adventure of yours fun Sorex?"
We all laughed embarrassing Sorex. Corpulus nodded, "I around of mead, that's all your getting."
Aldis nodded, "That is enough for me! Bolgier will you stay for the round?"
He sighed, "I might as well." He gave a big grin, "It is on the house! What Nord could resist!"
Ahtar was the first to speak. "I'll Schedule Jaree-Ra, Hargar and Deeja for the block within the next week. The rest of the marauders will be schedule among the month. It will be a busy time."
Bolgier shrugged, "Aye, they deserved it. Made everyone's jobs more difficult. Now with them gone, we can have the guards help more around the city and the citizens."
Captain Aldis nodded, "General Tullius will be happier with those supplies back in the Legions hands. I'll also return everything Vittoria Vici lost to them. Did you know she got engaged to someone from Riften?"
Belrand shrugged, "I've long since lost my good looks." He rubbed the bald patch on his head. We laughed and Belrand turned to me. "What is your plan? I mean this did start with you."
I did give that some thought. "I'll establish an information guild most likely. I used to work alone where I come from and most of the information was about the weather or hordes of beasts we fought. I'll likely help the Legion too. I got a hunch about where the storm cloaks funds are coming from. I got a feeling Ulfric will have an Ulcer if my hunch is right."
Sorex rubbed his chin, "Can I join you with the information guild endeavor. Rumors always come through Taverns and Inns after all."
I nodded, "That be great, but first I got to travel to Falkreath and visit some family there. Once that's done I will likely go to Riften to confirm my hunch about the storm cloak funding."
Sorex nodded, "Fair enough."
Corpulus brought the drinks over and he all raised our mugs. "Cheers."
I took a drink of my mead and asked, "By the way you check those cells for hidden passage ways?"
Ahtar nodded, "You were right, there was a weak wall that opened up to a passage. Lead straight past our evidence locker too."
Bolgier eyes widened, "Is that how he escaped?"
Ahtar nodded, "Seems so, real disappointment on that one."
A guard entered the tavern and made their way to Captain Aldis, He turned to us and sighed. "It was a pleasure however it seems I have to go sort out those supplies now. Vek, if you ever need help with something like this again. I'll be glad to offer my service."
He chugged his mead and nodded as he left. Bolgier did something similar and laughed, "Elisif is likely worried. I will go to, she is a little paranoid after what happened with Torygg."
Which left the rest of us to talk. "By the way what happened to Noster?"
Belrand responded, "He is in the infirmary wing in the Castle Dour. Jaree-Ra managed to to stab the guy when he realized what was up. Noster was the only one not wearing armor so."
Ah, well if he doesn't make it he will likely go to Sovngarde, if he survives he will likely get some gold for his effort. Enough to live off of at least. Sorex looked at me, "Where are you from by the way? Been wondering that since I saw those gold coins of yours."
I rubbed my neck, the truth was complicated. So I came up with something believable. "Well its a long story. To put it simply I come from the lost Nordic Continent of Atmora. The last Bastion Jylkurfyk is the last city. We are running out of time. The whole continent is moving north and thus the weather is getting harsher and colder. So its complicated, but incredible simple."
They looked at me shocked, "You really came from Atmora?"
I nodded, "Indeed, the traders have a rule not to talk about it. However I am not bound by such an Oath."
Belrand asked, "I don't mean to be rude, but I can't imagine anything of value being on such a cold continent?"
I smirked, "Silver and Ebony. The place is covered in it. So much so that homes can be made out of the stuff." That was real lore, Atmora was a place rich in ore. So much so that every item that Ysgramor brought over was made from the stuff.
I took out a coin, it obviously had gold too telling that I had 5000 Atmoras. "A ton of raw gold too, not as much as the other two. However enough to the point where I could be called rich if i had them in septims. Though I left most of what I owned behind."
Sorex laughed, "That explains a lot actually. I've seen a lot of iron and silver come in from mysterious boats. It also explains your coins, if Sailor's are banned from talking about Atmora. It means they don't buy in septims, but food and supplies."
I nodded and drank the rest of my mead. "Enough talking about me, after all I got to begin my preparations for traveling. I'm glad I got to help Solitude before I did though. I'm heading to sleep."
The three men waved, "We'll be drinking."
I nodded and wandered away. I had many things to do, and some things that were beginning to catch my attention.
