*Sigh*
This day was a crap day if Alex was being honest, running a full fledge town was a pain already. Now he has the NCR and that woman eyeing him up.
Future problems for future Alex, right now he had to prepare…he needed more EXP, and the fiends would be a healthy dose to his bank.
But he still couldn't help but feel heavy in his heart, his consciousness holding him back… that's the problem with having to sets of memories in one brain he supposed.
"Was that the right thing to do?" Alex sat down at his reloading bench while his sister moved around his home, poking and picking at anything and everything.
"Honestly? In my opinion what she did was horrible, unforgivable really, but I can't deny that Caroline loves you deeply…" Katie internally panicked as she accidentally broke the arm on a vault boy bobble head.
Alex scoffed as he turned, looking at Katie who held both of her arms behind her back as she looked nervously around the room.
"You ok? You look…like you gotta shit… gaahhh" pain racked Alexs forehead as a small guns bobblehead at the spear of Mach gotta go fast hit his forehead.
"Owwww! The fuck you throwing things for!" Alex rubbed his head as he picked up the broken collectible.
"You don't ask a girl something like that you prick!!!" Katie crossed her arms and glared at him like the next words he spoke if they weren't 'I'm sorry', may just be his last.
Alex glared at Katie, "You throw like a girl." Katie gave him the finger, "Because I am one dick!"
"Really? Because you could of fooled me with that mustache." Alex gave her a smug look as she covered her lip in shock.
He watched as she grabbed an eye-boy model and threw it at his face, he raised his had and caught the collectible. "Oi! Stop throwing my shi—-Gahhk"
*THUNK*
"DID YOU JUST THROW A 10mm PISTOL AT ME?!?!" Alex looked down at the heavy side arm that his sister threw at him.
"That's it!" Alex hit the mag release, as the magazine slid out he cocked the slide ejecting the chambered round.
Alex let out a grunt as he tossed the empty gun at his sister who bat the side arm away, "ha! You missed!"
"Then parry this you casual!" Without Katie realizing it, Alex had moved while her eyes were on the gun…. "Guh!"
All Katie felt was a large force hit her belly as another arm went under her arm pit, then the pulling and falling sensation as her little brother tossed her over his hip and onto her back.
Looking up at him as he straddled her with a victorious grin, she chuckled "You've improved… just not well enough." Her eyes glanced down to his mini me, making him look down and sweat drop.
"Oh…" his butthole puckered up as he looked at the small knife in her hand pointed at his junk.
"As much as I enjoy this position of ours, would you mind?" Alex simply nodded and got up off Katie. "Speaking of, I should go and find Caroline before your little stalker Houdini's her."
Alex let out a sigh "Ava's not going to do anything to her…probably…" As much as he hoped, he wasn't so sure, he really needed to have another conversation with the girl.
"Hupp, up I go," Katie hopped up and dusted herself off and looked at her little brother "You've changed quite a bit, the old you would rather be on the road then in one place trying to build something so grand as a town, I wonder? What changed?"
Alex shrugged, honestly it was just one of his mods at work, one that allowed you to make multiple towns across the Mojave. Occasionally the Npcs of the town would give a growth quest that would allow you to expand even further.
Nipton, Bonnie springs, Searchlight and Jacobstown were the areas you could take over, with the mod adding banks, merchants and a Mercenary guild where the player could pick up radiant quests to complete for caps.
He enjoyed the mod as it gave him a place to kick back or sell his loot, it also made use of locations that only usually say one or two visits from him in game.
Also, this wasn't a game anymore and having a collective community backing you up gave you that much more sway….
Of course he had to give his sister the abridged version so she didn't go get an exorcist.
"Legion, NCR, Brotherhood of Steel, the handfuls of other factions, name one that wants to truly help the Mojave without serving their own self interests." Alex gave her a blank expression, while she raised her eyebrow in surprise and then in deep thought.
"Followers of the apocalypse." Katie looked at Alex with a smug look.
"We both know that's not true, after all, she's the one backing them up…" the moment Alex said that, Katie's smug smile was wiped out.
"Okay, so the worlds run by shitty people serving their own interests, what's new with that?" Alex gave his sister an 'I know something you don't' look before turning away and walking back to his reloading bench.
"You should go back to town hall, I got to prepare for our little war with the fiends." Alex sat down and continued to load his 'special' ammo.
"Hmph, fine, kept your secrets to yourself!" Katie turned around and walked out of the large winter lodge her brother called home.
'You really have changed, how interesting little brother' Katie smiled to herself as she walked down the path towards the town hall, taking in the crisp mountain air, the subtle sounds of construction bouncing of the mountains around her, hinting at WinterHavens constant growth.
'If mother finds out…' Katie felt a cold shiver… she still remembered her mothers order.

*Knock* *Knock*
"Come in." The cold yet mellow feminine voice spoke up, ushering in whoever had knocked.
"H-hello lady Lilith, fine d-day we're having!" The man in a nice pressed suit quickly stood straight as the woman behind her desk stopped her paper work and looked up at the man who she…disliked.
"Kimball, is there a reason for this interruption?" The woman placed down her pen and looked at the heavily sweating man.
"I've just heard from my secretary that y-you wish to send me to Hoover dam?" The man felt like his legs were jelly as the woman smirked at him.
"Yes Kimball, it would be a great moral booster for the men on the frontlines, knowing the commander and chief himself risked his life to deliver them a speech." The woman now smiled as Kimballs face went pale, "is that a problem Kimball?"
"N-No! I'll be honored to go my lady!!! Please excuse me, I need to prepare!" Kimball turned and walked away on unsteady legs.
"Fucking coward." The woman sneered as he left her office, letting out a sigh, she took a small jet that she wore as a necklace and unlocked the bottom drawer of her desk.
Sitting in that drawer was an old blue and yellow flask with a large yellow 13 on its front as well as a large folder.
Taking out the folder, she opened it to see a picture of her pathetic husband standing next to a little boy holding a baseball glove, her slender silky smooth fingers dragged along the boys visage.
"Hmm, to think you tried to hide such a treasure from me Oliver…" the woman flipped through the folder, looking at other pictures, chuckling at the anger she felt when she had learned of her husband's betrayal.
She had wanted to strangle the boy while Oliver watched, but instead she looked into the whore that had sired him, wanting to know why…and what she found.
Taking a deep breath, she kept looking at the pictures that spanned years, watching the boy grow into a man.
"Hmmm, how did that happen under my nose, I'll have to have someone give that Brahmin baron and his wife a visit." The woman looked at the picture of the man being held in a legion camp while a young girl tended to his ghastly injuries.
"Seems I'll also need to have a word with Edward about his goons treatment of my man." The woman flipped the photo and felt her teeth grit as the photo showed the man laying in a pit full of bodies.
The anger at knowing THAT bloodline had been wiped out making her so angry she nearly launched a dozen nukes at that fool and his legion, ruining years of her master plan.
But the next picture made her heart throb…
Sitting under a large pine tree shirtless, cuts and scars from battles untold as a large deathclaw matriarch laid down beside him, her large head gently laying across his legs as he reads a book on governance.
His hand gently stroking the beast's snout as her eyes grow heavy.
How he survived she knew not, but he did, and that showed her just how powerful he truly was.
Such a picture made her core hot, such a man from that bloodline, "oh dear Oliver, such a gift you've given me."
The woman's hand lift her dress and snaked down her panties as moans escaped her mouth and her office, all her thoughts stuck on being held in that man's arms.
The arms of the last living descendant of the Chosen One…
