"ah" Mitch suddenly blurted out as he finally awoke from his slumber.
Quickly observing the surroundings he was in, he found out that he was on the basket, the same old basket his father or Peter always puts him in whenever he's asleep.
Afterwards, he began rubbing his eyes using his two tiny little fingers before taking a long yawn.
Too tired and still sleepy to do moves that requires a lot of energy, Mitch spent the next 20 minutes lazing around and staring at nothing before eventually getting up from his lying position.
Now that he was now in a sitting position, Mitch proceeded to climb across the basket without much effort and difficulty.
Afterwards, Mitch then jumped and landed on the floor below.
"Uwah?!" Mitch then exclaimed in shock and surprise as he saw that now he was slightly taller than before.
'Don't tell me..' Mitch slowly brought his arms out and saw that they were not touching the ground, adding more evidence to his eventual conclusion.
'If I'm not on fours, then..." Mitch turned his head towards the ground below and finally saw that he was now standing in two legs.
"Mwuahahahaha" Mitch couldn't help but laugh in joy in his tiny, cute, and squeaky voice.
"Fwuanally, mah time... to walk.. hash cam" Mitch muttered to himself, his eyes still glued towards his two legs.
'Now then, let's begin... the walk!" the moment Mitch raised his left leg to take a step forward, he immediately lost all balance, causing Mitch to fall on the floor below.
'Ow, it seems I still need father when practicing on how to walk.' Mitch thought to himself as he remembered the times his father helped him on practicing how to walk whenever he's got free available time.
After lying on the floor below for a few minutes, Mitch suddenly heard a familiar footsteps that is seemingly heading towards the room he was in.
And just like that, the door swung open, revealing Sedric, Mitch's father.
With a small click on his tongue, Sedric proceeded to make his way towards Mitch who is still on the floor before picking him up.
"I don't know how you got in this situation in the first place, and I don't give a damn how, you're always like this, mysterious and weird.... But you're still my son." Sedric stated, but more to himself as he began carrying Mitch towards the living room.
Mitch meanwhile listened to his father the entire time while also keeping quiet.
'Does he think I can understand him?' Mitch though to himself as he stared at his father's troubled expression.
As they arrived in the living room, Mitch could now faintly hear a commotion outside their house.
Without a word, Sedric quickly went straight for the door in the living room leading outside their house.
Opening the door, the father and son were quickly met with a crowd at the center of the village, not only that, what also caught both of their eyes were a small column of heavily armored infantry marching through the village, flying the banners of the kingdom of Merasia, which describes three blue stripes on a plain purple field, along with a shield in the center and inside it, the emblem of the Royal house of the kingdom, a gray tower with a tree growing at it's top.
They are also probably heading towards the eastern border.
'What's going on?' Mitch asked himself as he began observing the marching soldiers.
It was not until Sedric had finally reached the crowd that they could see what is really happening.
Surrounded by the crowd were Alan, their village's chief, and captain Elmer, the leader of the knights that were garrisoning the village, and currently they're on a very heated argument.
"What do you mean close our houses and refuse to aid any Rabian refugees?" Alan asked, his voice now seething with anger, and confusion at the same time.
"That's right, if you don't want to get branded as a traitor harboring an enemy from an enemy kingdom, I suggest you shut up and be a little good dog." Captain Elmer responded with a smug smile on his face as he patted the shorter Alan in front of him.
"Enemy? the kingdom of Rabia isn't our-" but village chief Alan wasn't able to finish his statement as Captain Elmer suddenly and rudely interrupted him.
"The bastard and his armies are the true enemies, sympathisers could've already spread out across the entire kingdom or possibly across the borders, we must be careful!" Captain Elmer said, making a slightly dramatic pose.
As Mitch listened to the bickerings of the two men, he couln't help but sigh in disapppointment.
'Am I... Am I going to live under these kinds of people from now on?' Mitch thought to himself as uncertainty began to spread inside his body.

Meanwhile on Welking bridge located at the kingdom of Rabia, Count Gregor could be seen leading the 500 light cavalry on a frontal charge against the thousand mercenary heavy cavalry that were still at the process of crossing the river.
Due to their light weight, the count's light cavalry were able to traverse more clearly and quickly at the river than the heavy weight cavalry from the mercenaries who were much more slower than them.
Not only that, behind the light cavalries were the spearmen levies numbering in the thousands, not to mention the thousands of heavy armored mounted knights that count Gregor is purposely keeping away from the battle, they were all right behind the infantry.
The same also goes for the mercenary heavy cavalries, they were also tens of thousands of heavy infantry following after them at their back.
"Ruaghh!" Count Gregor suddenly made one battle cry, also followed by the rest of his men, before crashing towards the mercenaries heavy cavalries
"Agh!" screams of pain and agony resounded across the entire battlefield as both sides began to hack each other, just like the count's left flank.
The sounds of blade against blade, and blade against flesh were all audible on the count's ears as he saw men fell off from their horses left and right.
And those men particularly were his, it is clear that the enemies heavy cavalry is better than them when it comes to power and armor, but nevertheless the count pushed forward, followed by some cavalrymen as they tore inside the lines of the mercenaries.
"Huagh!" Count Gregor yelled while evading a thrust from a heavy cavalryman before proceeding to decapitate his head in just one swing.
After this, Count Gregor then moved to another enemy before quickly killing him after a few short exchanges with their swords.
As the Count increased the intensity of his rampage on the enemy formation, more heavy cavalrymen could be seen dropping from their horses dead, some not even being given the chance to fight back before they were slain.
"W-What a monster..." a mercenary horseman said before trying to run away from count Gregor, only to receive a spear to his back by none other than the count himself.
Now motivated by their leader, the disadvantaged and depleted light cavalry's morale soared high as they began to fight back against the heavy cavalries more fiercly.
The line battle quickly turned into a brutal melee brawl as the light cavalries under count Gregor desperately did what they can to fight back against the mercenaries.
Some could even be seen tackling enemy horsemen from their horses as their last resort when they lost their weapons or when they're about to go down.
"Aaaaagh!" a mercenary screamed in pain as a rider forced both of his thumbs down unto both of the mercenary's eyes, blinding him and killing him in the most painful way possible.
Similar acts also happened around the battlefield as desperation finally took over the hearts of the men under count Gregor.
And speaking of battlefield, the battle between the mercenary's left flank and count Gregor's right flank became an entire new different battlefield since they are already too far away from their main armies and battlefield.
After a few minutes or so, the levy spearmen had finally caught up on their light cavalry comrades and has now joined the fray, adding more chaos to the battle.
The mercenaries however were undettered by this and has their morale instead boosted since the heavy cavalry that were lagging behind them has also caught up with them and had now joined the battle.
The river then began to slowly turn red as the number of people that fell and died began to increase more and more in each passing minute.
Count Gregor meanwhile saw that the enemy's entire left flank had finally been diverted towards his right flank.
'You're dead." Count Gregor thought to himself as he spotted Tyler at the very far back of his army, along with a small unit of soldiers guarding him.
Now that the enemy's left flank has been diverted, count Gregor could now finally begin the next phase of his plan, by using the gaps created by him and the vulnerable position of the enemy commander right now, count Gregor can now finally cut off the head of the snake.
