*Plots Changes*
- Added 'Affinity' which is a Mage's Affinity for specific Magic Types.
- The Syndicist Mages are a rebel force who are at war with the Mage's Alliance for who will control the human territory, the Syndicists are advocates of Pure Bloodlines meaning that Mages rule like gods.
- When a human is born, they are tested for signs of Mana with a special machine, and depending on the amount of mana present they are given a potential ranking.
The potential ranking is the cap of the Spell level that you can use as that is how many Particles are in your body.
Each Mage had an Affinity for specific Particles which meant they could only cast use Magic Types of those Particles, usually, a Mage would be born with an affinity for 1 or 2 types of Magic however there were rare cases where someone was born with an affinity for more than 2 Magic Types.

* Ok so that's everything I changed up to this chapter I believe, I hope I'm right XD anyways so I basically took a look at the system I had and said 'What the fuck?' literally like I quote no joke I didn't understand anything so I yeeted that shit out the door and spent 3 hours making a new one and then I was even more confused so I yeeted that one as well and then spent 7 hours making a new magic system and completely overhauled like a shit ton of the novel and I did it in 3 days of slaving for like 7 hours a day and I have a job, just finished highschool sadge.
but I do it because I love it so I hope you guys like the changes, also I will be uploading a separate auxiliary chapter with the entire Magic System detailed out completely if you guys ever get confused. don't get me wrong you don't have to read it as I have already slowly inserted it into the novel so if you ever get confused you can just refer to it. alrighty I think that's about it hope you enjoy the chap and as always send Hugz, From Hugz.

Anna woke up from her sleep.
Groaning as she moved her arm and started slapping the table until she hit her alarm clock.
Finally, she reached it and turned it off.
Sitting up with messy hair she looked at the time.
7 AM.
Stretching slightly, she got out of bed.
Taking a shower and getting dressed, she left her room.
Walking past her sibling's rooms and her father's room, she made her way to the kitchen.
As she fired up the stove and prepared the eggs, she couldn't help but recall last night.
'Shame on you for this terrible hospitality!'
Her blood boiled, every time she thought it over.
She knew that the room wasn't exactly ready, but it was still a cheap room.
And her family needed all the money they could get.
Sighing, she decided to add a few more eggs and make some for the boy who was staying upstairs.
At least now he wouldn't be able to complain.
Once she was done, she placed all the plates on the table and made her way upstairs.
Knocking on the door a few times, she called out.
"Hey!, breakfast is ready if you're hungry."
Walking back downstairs she gathered everyone and they began eating.
After they finished, she went upstairs again.
The boy had still not come down, and after all the work she put in to make his breakfast.
Knocking on the door again, she waited and heard nothing.
"I'm coming in!" she called out.
Still no response.
Twisting the knob, she was surprised it wasn't locked.
Entering the room she was shocked.
Broken items lay everywhere, the desk was knocked over and boxes were scattered everywhere.
Making her way around the room, she eventually found a small note on the bed.
Sorry for the mess.
That was all it said.
Anna felt her anger boiling again.
"That son of a bitch!"
She cursed for the first time in a long time.

Arriving at my apartment I unlocked the door and rushed to the bathroom.
I was fucking freezing.
Turning on the shower to hot, I climbed in after a minute.
As I relaxed in the hot water, many thoughts rushed through my head.
I ultimately decided on my next course of action.
Happy face practice.
Getting out of the shower and wiping the fogged-up mirror.
I began practicing smiling, at one point in the past I had gotten so good at smiling that I actually thought I really was.
Smiling and a cheerful attitude is important for multiple reasons.
It helps build beneficial relationships that could help in the future.
People are also less likely to believe it when you aren't nice.
It keeps you away from bullying and other various things.
After practicing for an hour, I began getting ready.
It was December 29th, I didn't have much time until enrollment and I was still lacking many things.
My body for instance left much to be desired, but there was nothing I could do about it now.
What I really needed was a good Martial Technique.
Martial Techniques were similar to martial arts of old such as ninjutsu and others however were more powerful.
Martial Techniques and Magic Spells were very different things.
Martial Techniques were merely a set of body movements that allow a person to perform feats incapable by ordinary people, however, they were not magical and were only physical movements.
Magic Spells on the other hand were far more complicated.
Magic Spells use Mana and are made from Particles that form a Magic Spell.
Mana comes from the Ethereal Realm and has invaded every planet the demons invade through their portals the mana spreads to the atmosphere and creates a layer of mana that surrounds the world, mana is like a law similar to physics. It manifests in the form of Particles.
However, since Mana only exists in the Ethereal Realm then the way it manifests in the Physical Realm without the use of Magic Spell Mediums is Mana Wavelengths which are a connection between the Ethereal Realm and the Physical Realm.
The Ethereal Realm is where Mana comes from, it is a corresponding Realm to the Physical Realm.
Particles are the manifestation of Mana since pure mana is extremely volatile and uncontrollable.
Magic Spells are far more complex, however, that was a short summary of what they were made out of.
Martial Techniques paled in comparison, however, they were still very useful.
Most of the ones I knew belonged to the protagonist and the heroines in the future so I couldn't take those.
However, there were a few I could pick from.
The first was a Technique called Sword Of Supremacy.
[Sword Of Supremacy] was a sword Technique that specialized in taking out a large mass of enemies.
It possessed numerous movement techniques that allowed the user to quickly dispatch enemies.
The next was a Technique called [Ascending Of Limits].
Ascend Limits, allowed one to overcome their limits, similar to an anime protagonist.
It had several Techniques on how to tighten the muscles and twist them in specific ways to allow someone to overcome their limits such as enhancing their attack strength or movement speed.
The final Technique was called [Art Of Annihilation].
Art Of Annihilation was special due to the fact that I knew almost nothing about it.
I had written it towards the end of where I got to before being transported, for one of the heroines but never ended up using it.
It was a Technique that specialized in efficiency.
It basically used the least amount of energy to give the best output.
There was a price for that efficiency but I don't know what it is.
The problem was that [Ascending Of Limits] was essentially unusable for me as it demanded huge energy expenditure as well as caused extraordinary pain and suffering to the user physically.
It was the price for overcoming one's limits.
And due to my frail body, there was no way I could survive the process.
It was essentially suicide.
[Sword Of Supremacy] was also problematic as I had no feasible way to get it.
It was located in the Demon territory and there was no way for me to get there.
Therefore all I was left with was [Art Of Annihilation] which I didn't know much about.
[Art Of Annihilation] was located at the top of a mountain in the frozen tundra in the human territory, Mount Sheleg.
It was a secluded mountain that not many knew about, it was also the final resting place of the Demon Azrael.
The Demon Azrael was a Syndicist Mage who was one of the strongest Mages of the First War.
During the First war between all of the races, the Syndicists joined forces with the Alliance Mages to protect humanity against the other races.
The Demon Azrael disappeared during the war and was never seen again.
However, I knew that he died on this secluded mountain.
And he left his Martial Technique here to boot.
I mean what a man!
He's practically my benefactor.
The problem was getting there.
I might just be able to get back in time for orientation if I leave now.
Sighing lightly, I turned to the mirror.
I certainly looked better than when I first came here.
My face was less gaunt though that wasn't saying much as it was still very gaunt.
Though my eyes never changed.
Still the same rotten eyes I've always had.
I suppose these eyes were bound to accompany me through both of my lives.
Chuckling lightly, I left the bathroom and got my T-shirt and pants from the dryer.
They were a bit ruined but, oh well.
I suppose I could make a bunch of money, however, the way I would do that isn't honest and I would need to pay a visit to the black market.
Packing my bag, I headed out once again.

Not much but enough.
I needed to purchase mountain climbing gear for harsh climates.
To be honest I wanted to cry.
Me?
Climb a mountain?
Why do I have to do all this shit?
Fuck.
Couldn't I have just written that it was in some fucking trash can?
It had long stopped raining so I made my way once again to the transport station.
This time there was someone different at the counter.
After buying a ticket to Nieva, the northernmost city in the human territory, I waited for the train to be ready to go.
My leg tapped rhythmically as my eyes darted around.
Calming myself down, I reminded myself that it was rare for it to happen once let alone twice.
Finally, the train began moving.
Watching the scenery outside blur as the train sped up I made a resolution.
When I got into the academy I wouldn't go causing trouble.
I would power up all while relaxing.
