After absorbing the Core of the Serpent, Dante is moved inside his own mind. An empty dark void with no light. It felt like I have been called into this deep abyss with no way of coming back.this was how Dante described the experience. Dante hears a loud voice calling him from behind. Dante! Dante! Dante!. the voice echoed through my head like thunder. even though it felt so deep I could feel the voice or this person held no evil intention against me. Who is it, I asked.
Serpent: I am the Great Serpent the lurks in the shadows. I am kun-Ra.
Dante: what do you want with me?
Kun- Ra: I just find you interesting and even if that's not a problem, why do I smell faint traces of master leaking from you.
Dante: master?
the serpent being as wise as he is figured out the truth instantly.
Serpent: ooh! I get it. it seems he has his reasons. Well as for me I just have some few things to tell you before my soul completely disappears.
Dante is shocked to hear that as he does not believe what he was hearing. The serpent explains everything to Dante about how he sacrificed his Core in order to save him.
Even though Dante was thankful, he still felt guilty for the death of the snake as he believes that if he hadn't lost the fight, all this wouldn't have happened. the serpent assures him that it is not his fault and that he himself had a short time left. Kun-Ra goes on to speak.
kun-Ra: my message is simple. A battle is coming. a battle that will destroy everything and take countless lives. A battle that will determine the fate of the Earth. you must be ready and cautious of those you Interact with Especially the Six. Beware of the Six and also that organisation. this is all that I can tell you. my powers will manifest itself as time progresses but for now I hope you survive My Leige. the Soul of the serpent disappears into the mist. Dante wakes up suddenly. he begins to reflect on what Kun-Ra told him but then he is interrupted by Rukaya who is excited that Dante is back again. Rukaya and Clint rush towards Dante and hug him.
Rukaya: are you feeling okay now?
Dante: yeah am fine now.
Clint: good to hear. we were all worried.
Rukaya: oh I forgot to tell you this but during the time when you were asleep, we were able to gather enough points needed to pass the exams.
Dante(in a happy tone): Really! does that mean we pass?
Rukaya: Obviously. Now all what is left is for us to reach the exam site before the time period.
Even though Dante is happy to hear the news, he still feels sad as he believes he held the group back. Sasuke noticed this and approached Dante. He whispers into his ears, you didn't hold any of us back okay. to be honest is because of you that we were able to reach this far so stop blaming yourself. I know you feel bad for Spine's death and we all do but that doesn't mean we should sit there and do nothing. if we want to avenge him, we have to move on and become much stronger. after we pass the exams, the road we will walk on will become more cruel but you have to endure all those hardships and use them as a stepping stone to become stronger. therefore you have to harden your resolve you got that, said Sasuke.
Dante: yes I do. thank you Sasuke. I owe you a lot.
Sasuke: to be honest I should be the one thanking you. now then get ready cause we have to reach the exam site by tomorrow morning.
With the end of the exams fast approaching, New friendships and bonds have been made, new enemies have also been made and also a start of a new journey approaches.
