It took Michael a while to get his head around what had just happened. He stared blankly at the golden pills rolling around in his hand for too long, being snapped out of his reverie by Archie.
'How long are you gonna stare at those for?' he remarked, finally speaking up.
'Ah, where the hell did you go? I really could have used your help' Michael said, thinking back to his earlier demeanor. He was sure that his dumbfounded face would not have left the best impression on Master Yi.
'Are you mad!?' Archie squealed. 'That old man is strong. If it weren't for me hiding deep in the Pendant he would have found me when he scanned your body at the start!' he shuddered involuntarily.
'I thought as much.' Michael said, however he was still a little peeved. 'It still would have been nice to have some back-up.' To Michael, over the past few months Archie had become someone who he could depend on to keep him grounded and provide help when needed.
