The house servant Charles led Michael through the splendid gardens, their footsteps muffled by the soft earth beneath them. As they neared the main building, Charles spoke up, easing the awkward silence that drifted between the two.
"This building, Alchemist Feng, belongs to the main branch of the Ling Family," Charles explained.
Michael's eyebrows raised in surprise, 'Main branch?' he questioned. As usual, Archie had decided to hide himself in the pendant to avoid being discovered, so he could only comment inwardly.
Curiosity getting the better of him, Michael couldn't help but inquire further. "Charles, you said the main branch of the Ling Family. How many branches are there exactly?"
