Exhaling a long breath , Kai relaxed a little.
He was currently standing atop a mountain which could almost let him see almost half the duchy .
This was the Mount Velene Which was near the ocean and also the highest mountain in the Asteria Duchy or the whole Asteria Kingdom of the past.
Kai was currently standing atop this mountain not to admire the beautiful scenery around , but to place the Luxurious castle he obtained from the system here.
This was decided after considering things carefully and thinking of the importance of such strategic position , it was the best position available to place the castle.Kai came here alone on purpose. He couldn't let people see how a castle suddenly appeared on the mountaintop.
He had planned with his subordinates. Those with illusion ability are directed to say that it was a large scale illusion that kept the castle hidden.
He didn 't doubt these people because he never trusted them. Only benefits could maintain them for now. They hadn't encountered a situation where thier loyality is at stake.
Kai would be a fool to test human nature.
He can only say that let the fate decide.
Placing the crytal card down, just as card touched the mountain, a white mist enveloped the whole mountain. When the mist slowly drifted away , A grandoise castle that no Royal palace can ever compare to , appeared. He thought Castle meant a castle , occupying few acres of land. The castle system gave him occupied whole of the mountaintop. He would take months to truly explore his own castle. He was drifted into air during the process , now that the process ended , he slowly descended down . Kai was truly at a loss.
He was excited and wanted to explore his own castle, he was then tangled and wanted to go back .

Kai thought for a while and gave it a name.

It seems the system already knew he plans. Or his plans were already within its expectations.
He became serious. Instead of exploring the Palace , he decided to visit his room first.

The room was more of a hall than a room to say. The luxurious package he recieved previously was retrieved by the system on his request and integrated with this room.
Walking towards the window where he could see the crashing waves of sea on the shore, long stretched path leading from castle down the mountain, beautiful clouds drifting so near he could touch them.
Huff.....he exhaled.
3 years. Less than 3 years.
He has to speed up everything.
He decided to officially move the castle staff first and then go for an official and first formal meeting in his new 'Royal Palace of Asteria'.

Hans , Richter, Johan , the official knights and many others. Everyone was stunned and couldn't come to thier senses for a long time. The palace in front of them was something they never imagined. They knew Kai had means, but such means to create such grand palace and no one would know about the construction, that was not like a human at all.
When everyone climbed up for miles , A giant gate stood in front of them . In the middle , Kai was standing .
He smiled at them .
" Everyone! Welcome to my Sky palace " , he greeted them with a grin.

The Conference Hall was large hall with an oval table in the middle. There were 12 chairs surrounding it . A thirteenth chair was bigger than all was placed at the topmost of the table facing the conference hall door.
Kai sat on his throne .
" First of all , you should know of my plan by now. But since some of you are not familiar with me , I'll let Hans repeat it to all of you " , He said and let Hans start speaking standing at his seat.
" Thank you , Your excellency", Hans bowed.
" Everyone is well aware that Asteria once used to be an independent kingdom itself. His excellency's plan could be summed up in one sentence. War. His Excellency wants to reclaim the lost glory of Asteria and punish those who trampled our dignity underfoot".
Everyone's blood boiled.
Hans gave them a stack of document each . The discussion went for 2 hours at least.
Kai spoke up at this moment when the discussion finally died down.
" 2 and a half years. That is how much time we have till we could protect Asteria and keep our plans secret from the enemy. " Kai stood up and spoke slowly.
Everyone's attention was shifted. They instantly became serious.
" The time we could waste is....A No , A big No . We do dont have even a grain of sand worth time to waste. What we did in past months had already angered Azure and Kanem ,both. We completely closed the Duchy. Not a single birdcould enteror exit. "
" It may be good for us for now. But it is not a long term solution. We need money , We need rations, manpower.Many things may look sufficient now, but do not become slack just yet. This is just the begining. Until and unless we master the Duchy completely ,everything we do would be worthless. "
" I shall first announce the names of all the candidates I chose with thier respective departments and Authority they could handle. "
He picked up a document in front of him and read it slowly for all to listen.
" Johan Bovate( Non-awakened)- Head of housing department.
Henry wings(Awakened-Physical-Steady hands ability)- Head of craftsmen association.
Mrs. Agatha Rayne(Awakened-Mind -Thread control)- Head of tailoring and clothing department .
Knight Wright Wester (Awakened-Physical,Physical dual line -Sturdy body , Enhanced hearing)- Head of knights academy.
Alice Springdale(Awakened-Water) - Head of canal construction and water regulation department.
Bryne Baker-(awakened-physical,mind-sharp vision,enhanced memory)-Head of Intelligence Department.
Harren Walls-(non-awakened)-Head of public opinion and propaganda department.
Julian Trace-(Awakened-Metal)-Head of Mining department. "
He read the list of the names he chose and also distributed the documents.
Leaving the conference hall, he let them ponder on thier own and went back to his room where he couldn't wait to talk to system now.

Entering his room, he sat on the couch.
' System, I had used up my 5 chances of draw , but I remember that there are still 8 chances remaining since I diligently completed the learning skills task'

The system said mechanically as ever.

He entered the misty white space once again . A giant spinning wheel kept rotating until he stopped it . The process repeated 8 times.
He was ejected from the system space.
A series of notifications rang out and told him that he recieved his rewards.

Kai kept quiet at this. This was too much for his heart. The value of enhancement cards already exceeds anything he could recieve. 50 subordinates with thier bloodline awakened to superior quality. That could change the whole game between empire and him.
But Advanced repair fluid. It was more of a resurrection potion than a mere fluid as system claims.
He was quiet.
He thought the system was too....no tooo generous.
The rest of the rewards were making him restless already.
