Hyacinth, her Dad, and the woman in yellow were sitting in front of the table. They were facing each other here in the kitchen and were discussing family matters. I, on the other hand, was brewing coffee for them. I could really feel the weighty atmosphere they had.
I acted cautiously and made sure to do things without noise to not attract their attention.
