Alina appeared out of nowhere at the right turn of the hallway. She made sure to hug Lucien as soon as she sees her and she did, frightening Lucien.
"Am I so pleased to see you have finally arrived. I thought you've decided never to step your foot here again."
Lucien didn't return the hug but raised her hands in surprise. This was an unusual character side of Alina which might have taken her by surprise. "T-thank you, Lady Alina" Alina finally let go of the hug, "And I guess it didn't feel right to suddenly leave it in this way." Lucien made sure to smile and sends an apologetic look.
"However, I am glad to see you back." Alina didn't stop any minute, continuing her talk about what had happened in these 2 weeks. of course, Lucien couldn't even stop her. Even if she tries to switch the topic, it gets back to the same topic.
