Lucien was frozen by Benjamin's confession. Neither of them spoke. It wasn't until Lucien laughed out.
"Is that supposed to be a joke?" She wasn't taking it seriously. "...or are you trying to make me feel better with your little lie?"
However, Benjamin refuses to laugh, he only watches her in sorrow. This made Lucien to immediately quiet down and stare down at him.
"It's a lie..." She spoke after a minute of calming herself down. "I will not be angry or question why you are behaving in this–"
"I never lie.." Benjamin answered. "I am not allowed to lie, Your Majesty." His posture was still. "I am confessing it because I know, my master will take this to his grave never to be known by anyone."
