"Silence..." Benjamin yells and the hall gets quiet a second later.
"What do you mean?" David was the one to question. Efthalia could have asked but he was too busy scanning someone. David could tell where his brother's eyes were. He could have smacked his head, but he let it be. 'Did he hear her thoughts?'
"If you knew about the witness, why have you kept it hidden when we were going around investigating?"
"I apologize, Your Highness." The minister bowed. "I just happened to come across and I couldn't seem to find a way to meet any of you personally."
After a not-so-brief explanation, he was granted the permission. A maid who was no other than Renee's maid walked in disheveled and shaking. She couldn't even raise her head but simply kneeled on the ground, both hands along with her head on the smooth floor.
"Y-Your Majesty, I wasn't hiding when the inquiry was going on. I-I...."
