The moment Edward was walked towards Efthalia, the crowd began to murmur lowly. Ajex was walking him in without a cuff on his hand or anything that would restrict him from escaping except for a chain hung on his neck.
Lucien watches in silence. She had somehow got a hunch that Edward did not look anything normal. He was silent, head laying low with a pale face.
'Was he tortured already?' Lucien carefully observed but there wasn't a single scratch on him, except that he looked like he had gone through some hellish day from his cloudy gaze. 'It's almost like he had been mentally tortured...?'
