Lucien hasn't been on the battlefield but had been staying beside Renee helping her with work as an assistant. Since the number of wounded knights keep on increasing, she was unable to do it alone. The other healer refused to help her.
The other consorts did come forward not to help her but to escape the hellish battle however, they regretted it. Not even one of them was able to stand; they either throw it out or fainted. Lucien was the only one who was able to stand the sight of blood or even to hold pieces of body Renee needed.
After a restless and sleepless night for the past few months, Lucien was finally able to loosen even though it was just barely for few hours. The Marquess and Marchioness had been considerate enough to deliver them food since none of the consorts had been properly able to have a decent meal.
