Ivan had decided that he needed someone to assist him while looking after the library, he wanted a break for himself. When he hired two helpers, basically his niece and nephew, he never regretted about his decision. He was able to get himself a rest and besides, his mana was depleting these days after the incident that happened around.
After a tired day, Ivan decided he did take an entire day a break and did not wish to entertain any guests, especially the consort ladies who would keep on coming towards him for doubts and questions. He didn't mind helping but there was a line between curiosity and stupidity about their questions.
